THIS…is the secret weapon for garage sales.
I have been having garage sales for, oh, decades now. If you want THE secret weapon for attracting people to your garage sale, SET UP ONE OF THESE. I do better when I don’t advertise at all and set up my waving tube guy with a “Garage Sale” sign in front of it. People can see it from the intersection up the street. They see it, and go “Hey, I wonder what’s going on down there?” and “If they have a flailing tube guy, it must be an awesome garage sale!”Trust me on this. This tube man and blower is truly awesome. I have one that’s another style (with the blower to the side), and I definitely prefer this. This one won’t get blown over by a strong gust of wind like my other one likes to do on windy days. It’s much more stable. The 20′ version goes nice and high, the other one I have is only 15′ high (only, lol), but seriously the extra 5′ taller this one is? Makes it MUCH more visible from a distance.The blower does make a bit of noise, so I don’t put them right in the driveway, I put them off to the side in the front yard so when people are at the sale they aren’t hammered by the noise so much. It’s not super-loud, but it’s loud enough you won’t put your lawn chair by it to enjoy the sound it makes.You might look at this and go, I dunno it’s a little expensive…the first garage sale I had that I set up a tube man for advertising? I made over $500 on the Saturday. If you live in a garage-sale-y type area, this is what makes it SUPER easy for people to find your house. Put this by the road with a “Garage sale” sign by it? (Also sold right here on Amazon, by the way…just saying…) And you’ll have a great day. And everyone will mention that they LOVE the tube guy, lol. This is very worth the investment. 5 stars.

Everybody needs one of these! Mr. squiggles is great fun, has a low noise level, and definitely fits the bill when it comes to drawing attention. It was super easy to put together and the kids love it.

Fun to Watch with Minor Flaws
Seeing the inflatable waving tube man up close was a lot of fun. Itâs entertaining to watch, and it definitely catches attention as advertised. However, there were a couple of issues. Thereâs some discoloration on the tube man itself, which doesnât affect its function but is noticeable. Also, the switch seems to have a short, though it wasnât a major problem for me since I could fix it myself. I think this could be inconvenient for someone without the tools or ability to repair it. If those details were addressed, it would be an even better item. Still, itâs a great purchase for its purpose, and it adds a lot of energy to the space itâs in.

Great giant sky dancer!
This is definitely commercial quality. The material that the guy is made of is much thicker than other sky dancers I have used that are 10 feet tall (this is the first 20-footer I have used). The fan is EXTREMELY powerful — when you turn it on, the tube man fills up INSTANTLY and starts wavering around. I think the housing of the fan could have been made with a little bit thicker plastic, but it does what it’s supposed to, so I won’t deduct any points unless I find that it actually cracks or otherwise fails later on. I got the rolling version, so it comes with 4 casters that can lock (and if you set this up on concrete or other smooth surface, you will definitely want to lock the casters). If you roll it around, you will need to bend over, so I may make a little attachment for a pole to attach to it so I can push/pull/position it into place with hunching or squatting.Overall, this is very nice. I got the flag/patriotic design, so I will put this out for all patriotic holidays and events. It is also a standard size, so I am able to use my 10-foot dancers with this unit as well (although they are much thinner material — I hope this fan isn’t too powerful, haha!)

Wacky waving inflatable tube guy!
The BSMTEK 20Ft. tube man and blower combination is the real deal. It has a 750W blower unit that makes the tube man dance and wave and put on an attention getting performance.The blower unit is constructed from a rugged, flexible, impact resistant plastic. The motor is powerful enough to get the tube man inflated within a couple seconds. The fan blades are fully enclosed with finger guards on the top and bottom. There is a power switch on the base of the unit with a flexible covering to keep water out. The whole base is water resistant, and able to be used outdoors in all weather conditions. The fan is pretty loud, as this is a commercial grade device moving a lot of air to inflate a large tube figure, and is significantly louder than the small inflatables you put out for the holidays. The base has wheels to move it around, and wheel locks to keep it in place.It comes with a tube man figure that attaches to the velcro ring secured to the base unit. The base has veclro hook, while the tube man has the loop and the whole thing attaches quickly and easily to the base. The figure is made out of rip-stop nylon, and has double stitching at the seams. The figure’s build quality is quite nice. We opted for the US flag pattern, making it a versatile addition for all sorts of events. This will be a big hit at out next 4th of July party.Overall, the build quality of this tube man set is good, and it feels like a professional unit that should give us plenty of flopping and arm waving fun.
