【Upgrade Cordless Rotatable Pole Saw And 8-Inch Chainsaw Combination】Has made a new upgrade to the 8-inch brushless chainsaw with an additional rotatable, multi-angle cutting extension bar (which can be installed and used at will according to the actual situation). You can either use the chainsaw alone to trim low branches, or install the extension pole to handle overhead work. One tool has two uses to meet the needs of users in different work scenarios.
【Compatibility with DE-WALT 20V MAX Battery】The Pruning Chainsaw Compatibility with Mini Chainsaw Cordless 8 inch Compatible with DE-WALT 20V Battery, Brushless Auto Oiler, Portable Handheld Small Electric Chainsaw with Chain for Wood Cutting (No Battery) 20V MAX Battery, Plug in your own battery and get your job done fast and easy! Low-voltage protection is our first concern. The machine will automatically shut down if the battery voltage is below 14.4v to prevent any overload damage.
【Power Brushless Motor】The pruning Pole Saw is equipped with a powerful 900W brushless motor. High-efficiency Brushless Motor delivers the power for more efficient cutting and maximizes run time and motor life. Choose this versatile cutting pole saw with hard core material and variable frequency brushless motor to enjoy low-noise, high-efficiency cutting jobs.
【Adjustable Multi-Angle Cutting Extension Pole】 The pole saw makes tough jobs safer without relying on unstable ladders, and the upgraded extension pole swivels to adjust different cutting directions for different cutting situations and has multiple adjustable angles so you can easily trim branches in different locations. The extension pole extends from 5.5 ft. to 8.9 ft. for up to 14.8 ft (based on a 6-foot tall person holding the pole saw in an extended position at shoulder level).
【Lubrication System And Chain Regulation Mechanism】The electric pole saw is equipped with an upgraded lubrication system that allows the chain to run perfectly at 26.8 FT/S, greatly extending the life of the chainsaw, which keeps the chain perfectly lubricated for smooth and effective cutting operations every time. It is also equipped with a tool-free chain tension system, which allows easy adjustment of the chain tension. Thus, it helps you cut more efficiently and faster every time you use it.

    Adaptable to different batteries
Perfect for self-maintenance saw that extends for hard-to-reach pruning. Versatile for other yard clean up or projects. I no longer have to ask others to trim branches and can keep my lawn area maintained. Tool is easy to use and safe. Stores easily. Love it.

Excellent (small) chain saw; extending handle has a flaw.
This is a really cool chain saw. It is well-built and runs well. It fits DeWalt 20V batteries perfectly. I love it, it works very well with only 1 hand. It requires chain lube, which is not included, but luckily I had some. It comes with 2 spare chains/blades, a small, plastic (empty) oil can, a pair of (crappy) gloves – which are loose cloth and possibly a danger around a chain saw (-.5 stars). It is nearly a perfect color match for other DeWalt power tools (see photo).
The pole is cool and extends nearly 15 feet. It is light weight with soft, foam grip at the bottom (near trigger). It gets unwieldly, as anything on the end of a 15 foot pole does. The connection (pole to chainsaw) it solid. It holds well, and can be adjusted to put the blade a various angles.
The biggest problem (-.5 stars) is the pole’s safety feature. In theory it is a good idea – you cannot engage the trigger on the pole/extension until the safety is turned off. It is the method of turning it off that is the problem. You have to turn/twist the handle (with trigger) 180 degrees to deactivate the safety. Ok, no problem… except: That put the handle out of alignment with the direction of the cutting blade/chain. It is awkward b/c you must use manual pressure to push the blade/chain, which is much harder to get leverage when the blade/chain turns the opposite direction from the handle. This means you have to pull towards you instead of push away from you (which can be dangerous).

    I don’t believe it

Seems to work well, but power drops a bit when using the pole.
NOTE that this set does NOT include the battery or charger. It’s mentioned in the product description, but I missed that and had to order batteries and a charger (and they’re not cheap).
Once I got my batteries and charged them up, I assembled this to test it out. Assembly was pretty straightforward, everything fit together well, and the chainsaw part attaches to the extension pole smoothly and securely. There are even several spare parts and extra chains included.
The chainsaw worked great on its own for cutting a few branches. However, when I connected it to the extension pole to cut a higher branch it felt like some power was lost. It still cut through the higher branch fine, but felt like it wasn’t getting as much energy since it slowed down a bit while cutting, and it didn’t seem to slow down at all when it was just the saw.
Overall though it’s working great and will make cutting higher branches much easier than my old fixed-blade saw on an extension pole.

Well made – Very adaptable, and easy to use
I’ve had manual pole saws, and corded electric pole chainsaws; powered is far better. But, the cord and shorter pole really limited where I could use it. I always thought that cordless pole saws would be underpowered until I got some yard tools powered by DeWalt 20V batteries.
So, when this OihPar 2-in-1 Cordless Pole Saw; I decided to find out how well it could work. There were a couple of dense clusters of pine branches that blocked the view at the fence. Way out of safe extension cord range; and over 15 feet up; higher than any tools I have.
This saw took care of 6 inch limbs with no real effort on my part. It was very easy to take the saw off the pole to trim up the fallen limbs, and branches in between the times using the pole. The adjustable angle feature made it easy to make safe cuts out of the way of falling branches.
The instruction manual shows several other tools that can work with the pole; but none of mine worked with it, I contacted OihPar to ask about that; and they said; ” …our poles do support these tools, but these tools need to activate the high branch function.” But, unless your tool actually provides instructions for it to work on a pole; it probably won’t.
This is a great option over gas tools for a wooded property that needs light work to keep it in shape.

Très bon produit. Bien fait, solide (plastique épais) et sécuritaire. Bien emballée. C’est très facile d’allonger la perche. Aucune batterie incluse. J’ai acheté séparément 2 batteries DeWalt 5A-20Volts avec un chargeur

  8. Shawn

    Works great

  9. Blaine

How am I supposed to operate it without a battery? This is dumb.

  10. iPhone Chef

not power, and the plastic is cheap texture.
