Easy to assemble and operate
What a difference this light-weight electric lawn mower makes! It cuts as well as my previous gas powered mower (WITHOUT the gas, oil, exhaust fumes, loud noise, heavy weight). It is delightfully easy to maneuver through my backyard and front yard with its steep road-side slope. I am still recovering from a hip surgery (takes around 6 months to heal), so I did not want to take risks mowing with a heavy machine. This has facilitated my transition over to electric yard working tools. And let me tell you: this light weight mower works like a charm and is the best purchase I have made in a long time. The batteries charge quickly and keep the mower running for a good hour. This mower has impressed me so much I decided to purchase two additional greenworks tools (a blower and a trimmer). In short, if you are looking into this mower, stop thinking about it! Buy it! You won’t regret it.

Top notch; excellent buy
I’m a 60 yo woman; this mower is well-made, light-weight, easy to use and fairly easy to assemble. The two batteries now work about 30-35 minutes when charged, long enough for me to mow my small-medium sized yard. For the first two usages, the charges held only about 25 minutes but I’ve noticed that the charge holds longer when regularly used. Very very easy to use, easy to push. Great exercise for the aging bod. Highly recommended!

Works well for a small yard
This mower does what I need it to do. It’s easier to push and doesn’t seem to get clogged and stop working as often as gas mowers I’ve had in the past. I really like pushing the button to turn it on instead of pulling a cord several times to start the mower. My yard is about a half an acre. I can do about half the yard on a battery charge. The mower has 2 batteries that go into the mower together. If I purchase another set of 2 batteries, I think I’ll be able to mow the whole yard in one go. The batteries take a couple hours to charge. Make sure the charger blinks green when you put them on. I had trouble initially with the batteries not charging. The charger blinked green and then would blink red inexplicably. I ended up switching to another outlet and it worked fine.

A must have set for yard work
This is an awesome set for the money. All three pieces of equipment work fantastic. The mower mows the grass with ease, even higher grass. The mower is light and easy to use. I’m a woman and hate using heavy hard to move gas mowers. This one is really easy to use. We have a pretty large back yard and it cuts the entire back yard and part of the front with just one charge. The mower does use the 2 batteries at the same time, so I am thinking of getting a third battery so I can do the weed wacking right after mowing. The weed wacker and blower are also light and easy to use. I can weed the front and back in one charge. This is a great set for anyone that doesn’t have a huge yard and it looking for easy to use, light tools. Highly recommend!

Don’t Make ’em Like They Used To
I bought this product and after half a season of mowing I would not recommend this particular buy.
Mower: battery was stated to last 1/3 of an acre on grass under 3inches. I own 1/4 of an acre and that includes driveway, patio, home and shed so grass area is much less than the quarter acre. The battery life doesn’t even last long enough to finish the front yard. I have to stop half way every single time (7 mows) and I keep my grass at 2inches or below. The bag doesn’t hold that much and I end up having to empty it multiple times which means starting and stopping the mower which further shortens the battery life. I’ve never used a battery mower with this short of a battery life. EVER.
Trimmer/Edger: this is a good product. The only one of the bunch. This works on edges, weeds, branches, long grass – everything you need. Battery life lasts a LONG time. I even mowed my entire lawn with this once and one battery lasted for the entire yard. Clean, powerful and lightweight.
Blower: not strong enough. Tried to blow grass trimmings – GRASS TRIMMINGS! and it couldn’t. I highly doubt it’ll work in the fall with leaves.
Don’t buy this. It’s not worth it.

Ditch the Gasoline!
Much much much more convenient than a traditional mower. I finally bit it and upgraded to electric after years of tinkering with traditional gas mowers that constantly break down and get muddled up. I do wish that the batteries were compatible with the other Ryobi electric tools that I have, but this particular model uses 2 batteries which give it a good charge. I did have to break between the front and the back yards to charge back up, but this was after moving into a new home that hadnât been maintained in a few months. I think regular mows would go quickly enough to get it all done in one charge. Highly recommend. Even if the charge isnât sufficient for the area, I think convenience of the product is worth buying an extra set of batteries for switching out.

Batteries are terrible
The mower works very well. Lightweight and easy to push. It was easy to put together and the batteries are easy to place and remove. However, if you have a lawn bigger than a parking space, it is better to get more batteries for backup. I have had to charge them three times to get the lawn mowed. The first two times we used it, it mowed the whole lawn without issues. But now I have to charge it twice during mowing. It is highly irritating and makes mowing twice as hard and three times longer than needed. I thought it was maybe a problem with the batteries, so I called the customer service hotline for help. Don’t bother. I was on hold for an hour and no one picked up. Their AI chatbot is worthless as well. I would not buy this brand again simply because of the hassle.

I’ll be honest, I haven’t had to mow grass in 20+ years. But buying a new home with a lawn this was a must buy. It comes with 2 batteries (which work with any other Greenworks devices of which I now have 2 of – hedge trimmer and weed wacker). Both batteries are used in the mower at the same time. I would say it lasted 45 minutes approximately. Basically long enough to do the side and back of my house. Honestly at the point the batteries died, I was done mowing anyway. It’s not that much fun.
Recharge (forget how long it took honestly, I did them overnight) and then mowed the front the next day.
So now that I told you my tale, yeah it works great. I’m no mower expert, I didn’t go to university to become a mower savant. But it cut my grass, is light weight to handle, and the batteries lasted the perfect amount of time. Way better than dragging a cord around, and far less loud and smelly than a gas mower.
So moral of the review – buy one you won’t regret it.

I bought this lawn mower for my small front yard. I’ve used it a couple of times now and love it! I was impressed with the battery life during the first mow, as the grass was a bit long and I went over some areas on the lawn a couple of times. The first mow took about 1hr. The lawn mower is easy to maneuver & turn. I am not using the bag, as I wanted to mulch the grass and keep it on the lawn, and the mulching attachment is easy to install. It’s lightweight, as I have to lift it into my shed which has steps. I would recommend this lawn mower for smaller lawns.

I bought this mower to replace a 15 yr. old Sears gas mower. It was on sale so I couldn’t resist. It was basically fully assembled except for the handle so it just took a few minutes to finish it. I let the batteries charge for about 3 Hrs. which brought them up to full charge. Popped them in and mowed my lawn. Slick and fast and perfectly cut all in about 12 minutes! Batteries were still 2/3 charged when finished so I figure I only need to charge them after every third cut. I REALLY like the wheel adjustment. Just push a button down and the mower floats up and down so easily. Just release the button when you’ve found the right height and it locks into place. The mower is very very light compared to my old one. It’s all plastic which is fine (it won’t rust). The only minor disappointment is the hollow plastic wheels. Don’t know how long they will last but I guess replacements can be found if necessary. Surprisingly, going from a 21″ to a 17″ made no difference in the time it took to cut the grass, maybe because this one is so light and maneuverable. I’ve only had it a day so far but overall I am quite pleased. It does what it’s supposed to do effortlessly and gives a great result. I am happy with the purchase. Recommended!!
