LOVE this mower
I love the way this mower works, and I can start it every time. I am 5’2″ and 128 lbs, I have always had an awful time with starting pull mowers, but I need the power of a gas mower to mow my front and back yard. I was always frustrated by other mowers. This lawn mower is the best and the assist is awesome, I would buy it again and again. I gave three stars for assembly because I needed my son to help assist with that, since I couldn’t do it alone. Great mower, starts every time.

This is the third one of these I’ve had the first two I’d beat them up commercially cutting multiple yards every week with them and I got like three or four years until it literally broken half from so much use I used it so much the tires are smooth on it but yet it was still cut anything and I’m old school and I use them and abusing but the little Chinese when I bought real-wheel drive was supposed to have all this power just five and a half horsepower Briggs and Stratton motor run circles around it and having to prime it and pull it seven or eight times that’s why I put it in the gym brand new had it one year don’t ever waiver from going Craftsman have a good day and God bless

I am extremely disappointed in this mower. Self propel works occasionally and when it does it has no power. I am pushing this thing rather than it going like a self propelled mower should. The throttle cable is not attached like any mower I’ve ever seen. It just flops all around. It has a knob to tighten it. But that doesn’t work either and even if it did it wouldn’t matter it loosens itself not a minute later. With a name like craftsman the name my father always trusted…..I would have better luck with a old time no motor mower. The grass shoot that hooks on just falls off the mulching door after 3 uses has fallen off. What GARBAGE EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED IN THE MOWER. ITS WORSE THAN TORO AT LEAST. TORO LAST 3 MONTHS THIS THING DIDNT WORK FROM THE STARTING GATE.

Good product, but…
I received an obviously previously purchased product. The last owner had tried and failed to put the mower together. It is a little difficult, but I managed to get it together and working. The bad part of it was the last owner, which had returned the product to Amazon, had left out the foam packing in the box so that the mower got beat up in it’s trip to my house. I just wanted a mower to use and wasn’t fussy about a few blemishes, but it’s not what I expected for my money. It does function well.
