Handy saw for small wood cutting jobs
The saw arrived as expected with no missing items. I charged the battery and proceeded to remove some limbs that were bothering my mowing and I cut up an 8″ tree that had blown over into logs to remove for firewood. The saw is light but powerful and the 12″ blade is just right for small jobs. The battery showed no sign of weakness and I didn’t run it down.Update: So I bought the saw in Sep 2022, used it quite a bit and was quite pleased with the performance. Then i left it in my shed for a few months until I needed it again. Now, in July, 2023, I have a need but the battery is dead. No big deal, but it won’t charge no matter what I do. Called their support number and gave them Amazon information from my order history (one of the best parts of Amazon, no sales slips to store or credit card info to look up, just go to Amazon and get the info, I love it). I then ran a couple of tests for the tech and he said he’d send a new one in 7-10 days. That was Aug 1. It arrived Aug 2, I charged it overnight and Aug 3 I cut an 8″ tree and trimmed a few limbs in other areas. That’s pretty good service in my book. I just hope the new battery lasts a long time.

Wonderful!
Works wonderful! Lightweight and easy to use and put together. Itâs a little work horse for trimming around the yard. Cutâs great will need to get chain sharpened at some point but itâs just what I needed for small projects. Bought an extra battery so no downtime in between. Has enough power to cut through branches easily.

Good saw for its size
I like the light weight and the easy set up of this saw. This is my first battery saw so I have nothing to compare it to since I have only used gas saws before. Itâs certainly easier and quicker, quieter than my gas saws. The saw worked just fine on the first few test cuts I made and the battery was still fully charged after I made those cuts. Because it is so light it bounces a bit during cutting so you have to hold it firmly. The real test will come when I take it camping. The only thing that could be better is that unit would have more aggressive teeth or even steel teeth on the front of the case to help the saw bite into the log you are cutting. I would give it 5 stars if that improvement were added.

Surprised how well this works……
Bought for just trimming some branches. Then,a month later,a storm split a tree. When I used it to clean it up,I was surprised how much I could cut. Quite too. Time will tell how long the battery will last. Nice not having to play with mixing gas.

4 years, still going strong!
Iâve had this for 4 years, purchased in 2019, and itâs still going strong with original battery. I am not a logger but I live in the woods and occasionally trees fall down. They arenât redwoods, but theyâre pretty good sized, the largest Iâve used this on was about 10â diameter. Earlier this spring we had a lot of trees with broken limbs or totally knocked down in a storm so itâs been getting a lot of use. I have bad elbows so its painful to use anything with a pull-start; being able to just flip a switch with no yanking, no gas/oil mixing and no power cord is a breeze. The saw is very lightweight and easy to handle. Itâs loud, but not nearly as loud as a gas saw. I can cut up several trees with one charge. I have the 40v model. I also own a heavy duty gas chainsaw, but I havenât used it since I got this gem.

La chaîne, les dents trop grosses pour la longueur de la scie. Je ne recommande pas.

Corta bien pero después de unas semanas, la baterÃa dejó de funcionar y se volvió completamente inútil.
