Great mobo, for and mATX build
This mobo went into my new compact build and it works very well. ASUS has been a good (more like a favorite) vendor for me, being reliable, the features I need and want, at a good price. The BIOS gives me the options I need to configure the system appropriately. The Armoury sw is probably the only complaint, the UI is not very intuitive and that needs attention from ASUS.

ASUS TUF GAMING B760-PLUS WIFI
Great price, WIFI, 3 m.2 ports. the only gripe is that it only has one port for USB 3.2 header, and the case I got for it is a corsair 6500x that has 4 USB 3.2 sockets on top.
Installation is fairly uncomplicated. Very nice gaming Motherboard.

Appealing, Reliable, Compatible, and Affordable
I got this mother board on sale for around $160. Iâve always been a big ASUS fan, and have never had any problems with any of their products. This motherboard was no different with a built in WIFI adapter, DDR5 capabilities, compatible with Intels newer generation processors (LGA 1700), M.2 storage capabilities and more. You really canât beat it for the price. I installed this mother board paired with the Intel i5 13600kf CPU into my PC to replace my older ASUS motherboard, and it only took me about 45min to swap everything taking my time and cleaning my case as I went. I installed windows, and everything booted right up with no problems. Motherboard recognized all my fans, RAM, and CPU with no problems. The instruction manual is also very thorough, and ASUSâ webpage is always very helpful if you have further questions. Great company and great product overall for the price.

Great Quality and easyto install
I like that it was almost plug and play, didnt need to update bios to pair with my i7 12700k, the only reason im not giving it 5 stars is because the wifi antenna does not seem to be working out of the box and there is no instructions on how does it work.

Great motherboard, horrible maintenance software…
The “TUF Gaming B760M-BTF WiFi Intel B760 (LGA 1700) mATX Motherboard with DDR5, PCIe 5.0, 3X PCIe 4.0 M.2 Slots, 12+1 DrMOS, Wi-Fi 6, 2.5Gb LAN, DP, HDMI, USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 Type-C, Hidden Connector Design” works well for me. However…
I have one whopping caveat about Acer’s software that they want us using to manage drivers and set its performance variables: the software has serious issues that cause a BSOD on Windows 10. I can’t run half my applications when the Acer app is installed. I learned that the hard way.
So, if you are running into any issues with the dreaded BSOD, try uninstalling the Acer app after you download and install all the drivers necessary to run Windows 10 or 11. I had to do this myself on two machines. I was pulling my hair out trying to solve the issue when I ran across many others on forums complaining about similar issues.
Bottom line for me was that the build runs awesome on all the software I use without ANY BSOD issues unless I have that Acer app installed. So, I install the app occasionally to check for updates to drivers and also for firmware updates, then uninstall it. No issues.
I shouldn’t have to do this at all. Acer has been told numerous times about the issue, but so far (as of the end of 2024) it wasn’t solved. I’m giving the motherboard 5 stars because it runs great. The app on the other hand deserves 1 star.
I can’t recommend the motherboard, unless you understand there may be an issue with the Acer management app that will hopefully be resolved soon.

Extremely quality motherboard, outdated price hike
I bought this B760M D4 motherboard in very-late December 2023 at ~$180. Since then, newer Intel CPUs have gone on sale, and this motherboard has gone up to about $250, which is quite high for a B-series board. I know it’s due to the age, and not being the current-gen and maybe even out of production by Asus, but my feedback is still valid, especially if someone is looking to get this board, new or used.
I built a new system around this board with a 12th gen i5 and a single 1TB NVMe drive and 16GB of memory. The board is very sturdily constructed, and the various VRM heatsinks add a sense of quality to it at first glance. Being a B-series board, I can’t and don’t overclock my CPU, so stability will be great for a long time to come. I selected this board specifically because it was 1) B760, 2)micro-ATX, and 3) equipped with a front-panel USB-C header for my new chassis. The rear I/O is also great for a micro-ATX board, as it comes with loads of USB, from 2.0 to 3.2 Gen 2, even including a USB-C port. Paired with the very stable Wi-Fi 6 chipset (and solid included antenna) and 2.5Gb Ethernet port, connectivity isn’t likely to be an issue unless you need a dozen or more USB ports with no intermediary hubs or multiple USB-C ports.
If you need a very well-built, well-optioned B-series motherboard and don’t mind Asus or its Armoury Crate, then this is highly worth considering. At the price I paid, definitely worth it, but as time passes and still-new prices continue to rise, you need to weigh that for yourself.

Great except one tiny thing
Wanted to write this for anyone else. The motherboard is amazing and I’ve had zero issues. Only thing that I have had issues with is the wifi antenna. It was working perfectly for a year, now it disconnects randomly when playing multiplayer games. Checked my wifi, checked my IP address, checked everything involving this computer. I’ve ruled out that it has to be the wifi antenna because I’ll be playing games with my roommate, and everything will be great for an hour or so, then MY Internet disconnects and his keeps working. He’s wireless also. So I would recommend using the wifi antenna for the first 6 months or so, then start thinking about buying a new one. Fortunately getting a wifi antenna is pretty easy and they’re very easy to install.

Really bad experience!
I bout got this new condition motherboard, and the one I received is clearly open boxed! I donât even know if thereâre things are missing or not working! Not as described!

This this motherboard never quite worked. The Wi-Fi and wired networking cut out constantly. There were strange crashes with pretty much every game I tried to play. Now it has failed entirety, it was freezing during Windows installation and then none of the disks were recognized and now it just locks up or resets after every power up.
This motherboard is part of a project by ASUS called BTF (back to the future) to design motherboards with all of the cable connectors hidden behind the motherboard for a ‘cable free experience’ (except for the gpu pwr, case fan, cpu fan, etc) this experience also requires a special case from ASUS that has cut outs for the cables that plug in the rear of the board.
This project isnt working, this hardware cannot be so unreliable or unstable. Back to the drawing board.
Update:
I now think my problems are explained by the Vmin Shift Instability issue reported here by Intel:
https://community.intel.com/t5/Blogs/Tech-Innovation/Client/Intel-Core-13th-and-14th-Gen-Desktop-Instability-Root-Cause/post/1633239?s=31
I am outraged that this was shipped to me with this problem not fixed even though it was identified beforehand. I was apparently knowingly sold defective computer hardware that should have been recalled. I was never informed by the onboard update software or by Amazon, ASUS or Intel about the importance of this issue or how I could have fixed it before it was too late.

Was picking up a compact motherboard for the I7 12700. I took this one because it is DDR4 compatible, I transferred the modules from the previous board. The board looks decent. A lot of interfaces and features. Expensive, no other complaints) A week of tests went well.
