Better than it looks!
I am not a profeshional but have owned several chainsaws over the years. I purchased this chainsaw to help clean up from hurrican Hellenas. i was aprahensive upon assembly, mainly I was worried about the plastic csae. How ever what this saw lacks visibly it makes up in performance. I cut up a large oak tree on one battery charge. I dont think it would take a lot of abuse like rough handling, or dropping it. But if you need a chain saw to get out of a jam like me or for occasional use this has great value for the price. Four out of five stars.

Great handheld light duty hand saw for small jobs
I am a Vine reviewer who actually opens the box, really tests, really evaluates, and writes really honest unbiased reviews of products. Really.
I always go back and read the advertiser description and other reviews. There were no other reviews at the time of this writing.
I like to leave timely reviews of products, but frankly the weather in Ohio USA for the month of January has prevented me from evaluating this product. Today (Jan 28) is the first day over 40°F in about a month, so I tried this saw out.
When these “mini saws” first came out, I purchased one, but that saw was pretty disappointing. THIS particular saw, from a few short tests I tried it out on is pretty impressive.
This saw seems to have good power for small jobs. I will have to use it for longer periods to see if the battery’s hold up and the motor runs hot or is reliable. I don’t have that data yet.
The amount of product that this saw came with (two batteries, four chain saw blades, one extra bar, gloves, safety glasses) is amazing. I like the extra “oil bottle” also. I don’t know if I can trust the oiler yet, but I do note that there was some oil on the bar and motor housing after use, so I might have been slinging some. (I DID however manually oil the chain before use)
The tool-less chain adjustment is COMPLETELY AWESOME!! Upon arrival, the chain was WAY too tight, but I expected that. I adjusted the chain to correct tension, and after about a minute the chain was loose, again that was expected. Point is, with this tool-less system it really doesn’t matter, because you can correct things in seconds. Really nice.
The oiler “seems” to work, but I don’t really know yet. It will require more use to find out, and I don’t have any wood to cut right now. In the springtime, with all my trees, after a couple of windstorms, I’ll find out.
Batteries both work and had a correct charge upon arrival. Both charged in a reasonable time.
Frankly, I’m impressed. Small saws like these mean you don’t have to drag out the “big stuff” to handle small or even medium jobs.
Saw comes with instructions, but I admit I did not look at them except to take pictures.
I can’t really recommend the product without further evaluation, and that’s not going to happen for a while. But my initial impression is very favorable, at least concerning the design of this tool.
Review –
Initial impressions are good, but time will tell (and I will update this review accordingly).
This is an initial review because as a Vine member I have to leave reviews in a timely fashion and Iâve had this tool almost a month. I often update reviews multiple times over the course of getting to know a product over several months and I will update this review as time moves forward. I live in Ohio and since the day I have received this it has either been significantly below freezing (up to 40 degrees below) or very, very wet outside. Because of that and the time of year, I have not been able to give this saw a thorough workout. However, here are my initial impressions:
The saw seems solid and the blades are quite sharp (sharper than my regular plug-in electric 16â saw I use all the time in the summer (I ordered this to replace the corded one for smaller jobs). While I have not tested it on outside wood that is 40 degrees below freezing, it works fine on scrap wood I have in the garage.
The batteries were rather low on initial receipt (lower than they should have been) and took a few hours to charge up. The batteries use a more style plug-in charger, but they also have slots for slide-on chargers (the more traditional style of charger for this type of battery). I happened to have a generic charger I got with another tool and it fit these batteries. Both styles of charging worked at about the same rate. For those interested, the other tool was sold under the brand name JAGROM. I do not know how many different incompatible styles of tool battery chargers exist, but I am happy this toolâs battery fit what I consider a âgeneric universal no-name brand charger for generic universal no-name brand toolsâ that I happened to already have.
The tool comes in a hard plastic case that more-or-less fits everything that will be needed with the saw, but for my own storage I have left out the gloves (They are fairly cheap gloves and I have better, safer gloves), the safety glasses (same story as the gloves) and the plastic oil bottle which I would not trust for bar oil use â itâs just a spill risk). I am able to fit everything else in fairly neatly, as seen in the picture. I would say the items I left out were after-thoughts to make the listing more âeverything you need in one purchaseâ but were not designed to be stored in the box. As with all similar saws, once you add bar oil, it’s going to ooze out a bit if there’s any left after using the saw, so the box will only be “clean” until you use the saw.
As I have actual opportunity to use this saw in the yard, I will get a feel for the true battery life and power of the saw, and will update this review.
I was going to take and upload more pictures, but the reviewer bobwatts did such a good job at posting accurate pictures in a detailed review, I decided not to be redundant.

Looks like a winner
I’ve assembled this mini chainsaw which was a simple process. I love that it has an oil well as a lot of these you get a little bottle that you have to fill and squeeze onto the chain and bar to keep it oiled. I noticed that it is currently unavailable with no idea when or if it would becoe available again. I have no idea what that’s about.
I probably won’t get to testing out its cutting ability for awhile, until the snow melts off a bit. As soon as I can get back to the tree I cut down a few weeks ago, I’ll report on how well it works. As long as there is not a technical reason it’s no longer available, I expect it will perform like most of these mini chainsaws. It came with two batteries so you have plenty of juice for any trimming you might need to accomplish.

Not bad
Overall, the set is really nice. It comes with two batteries and a charger; safety gloves and googles; extra chain set. It is pretty sturdy and not too heavy. Really easy to use.
I was able to fix the chain with ease as well. It has decent power but lacks a lot of power. I was able to cut up a Christmas tree pretty easy but it didnât do that great on the pallet.
