Long lasting
I recently purchased this portable power station, and it has quickly become one of my go-to pieces of gear for outdoor activities and emergency power backup. Whether Iâm camping, road tripping, or facing a power outage, this device provides reliable and consistent power for all my essentials.
Key Features I Loved:
Power Capacity: The battery size is more than enough to charge my phone multiple times, keep my laptop running, and even power small appliances like a mini-fridge. It has a solid capacity, and I never worry about running out of juice. Also I used it for my husband’s Cpap machine! Lasted for 3 days!
Multiple Outputs: It offers a variety of output ports, including USB, AC, and DC options, allowing me to charge multiple devices simultaneously. The addition of a fast-charging port is a great bonus.
Compact & Lightweight: Despite its impressive power, the unit is surprisingly compact and lightweight. Itâs easy to carry around and fits nicely in my car or backpack without taking up too much space.
Durable Build: The design is rugged, and it feels sturdy. Iâve taken it on a few trips now, and it has held up well to the elements, including a bit of rain and rough handling.
Solar Charging Compatibility: I love that itâs compatible with solar panels (sold separately). Itâs great for long camping trips or emergencies when thereâs no access to an outlet.
Areas for Improvement:
The only minor downside is that it takes a bit of time to recharge fully if youâre using a standard wall outlet, but this is typical for larger capacity units. The solar recharge is a fantastic option but depends on sunlight availability.
Overall Verdict:
This portable power station is a fantastic investment for anyone who needs reliable power on the go. Itâs versatile, well-designed, and offers great peace of mind, whether youâre off the grid or just need a reliable backup power source. Highly recommend!

Works great for a cabin house with constant power outages!
This power station has proven to be a reliable and compact solution for my third world needs. It works seamlessly with an APC 1100 backup battery, maintaining stable operation during power outages. Its compact size makes it easy to store and transport, and it operates quietly, which works great for a cabin. The built-in light was a nice surprise as I didn’t bother to check while ordering but it’s really bright for it’s size. I regularly use it in a vacation home where the electricity supply is inconsistent. It performs well for keeping a few lights and the internet running.
In my experience with a power consumption of approximately 120W (modem, router and a DVR with 8 cameras) the power station delivers a runtime of around 2.5 hours. This is sufficient for short-term needs. Sometimes power can be out for over 4 hours in my area so I would definitely consider adding some more stations around the house.
So far the unit has been running smoothly for over a month.

Great power source for breast pumping on the move.
I got this for my wife so she could breast pump without being chained to the electrical outlets. She Loves it! Itâs a little on the bulky side but itâs been one of the most valuable tools for her as a new mom! Well worth the money and itâs holding up strong.

Got to use it, finally…
So, the backup power supply got charged, then sat in the closet since 7/24. That is until this morning, 1/13/25, when we lost power. Our home entertainment system runs on a single power strip, so all I had to do was pull the plug from the wall and plug it into the power supply. Note that you have to switch on AC power. Between the 65″ TV, the sound system and the wifi modem, it pulled about 140W. My wife and I watched for about an hour until the power came back on. The battery power indicator didn’t lose a bar.
It’s all we really got it for; to be able to keep up with the world in case the power goes out, and to charge our devices. Worked great.

Great little power station!
Was a little skeptical at how long it would power an inflatable but it went 6+ hours! So if you’re looking to decorate a float for the holidays this will do the trick. It’s also got lots of USB ports for electronics. I’d definitely buy this again…so far so good!

Buyer beware (edit see my updated status)- Unit failed after 1 use, good luck contacting them!
Update June 15, 2024: The company did finally respond to me. They asked me to send the unit back (to someplace in Utah). I had to pay for shipping back to them ($30 given I am in Michigan), but they did send a replacement unit back to me. I am testing the new r300 a bit more than I previously did with the first unit. I have fully charged and discharged the unit 3 times, it appears this unit is behaving as expected.
Orig review:
I purchased a R300 in October 2023 (it’s May 2024 at the time of this review). I used the device one time to test if my CPAP machine would work as advertised. It did. I had not used it since, I am planning on going camping soon and got it out to charge up etc. The unit won’t take a charge. It shows 2 or 3 bars for a short while, then jumps to 100% and stops charging (if it ever really was). I sent an email to support@enginstar.com with description of issue, my purchase date and a video of the unit doing as I described. 2 days and radio silence, the website is not responding (nothing ever shows up), the Facebook page is gone. Sent word on Twitter. I am not having warm and fuzzy feelings that I didn’t just waste my money on this product. At this point it was too good to be true. Pretty disappointment…If they respond I will update my review.
