Best bang for your buck!
My 10 year old Husqvarna broke and needed a overhaul. I looked at several name brands and couldn’t believe how much they had gone up! Before I spent over $500 for a new chain saw I looked at several off brand models on Amazon. Up came the Sungel 20″ for $159. I thought heck that must be POS! After going thru 30 highly rated reviews I bought one. OH MY GOD! Started right up, and it sawed up 2 large trees with absolutely no problem. Very easy to assemble, very light, and purrs like a cat through large trees. ! If you’re looking for a good chain saw for a very reasonable price this is it! I would buy it again in a NY minute!

Awsome Chainsaw
My 20-year-old Husqvarna chainsaw finally died. I have to say it was OK, but it was always hard to start. Since I am retired and I have to watch my expenses, I decided to see what I could find on Amazon that was affordable. This Sungel saw had decent ratings and is incredibly affordable, so I went for it. After two days of using it I can say that this saw is awesome! It starts first time every time and cuts my logs super fast. It’s a little loud, but I can live with that. For the price, even if it lasts only one or two years, it is a real bargain. Yea, I would rather but American, but this is what I could afford and I love it! Will update if there are any issues.

Engine will not fire
Received the chainsaw. Product looks good but the assembly instructions are a poor translation into English. Since I have experience with chainsaws I was able to assemble it. Added fuel in the proper mix and chain oil. Attempted to start the saw for a total of fifteen minutes allowing it to vaporize fuel in the event it was flooded. Fuel was flowing to the carburetor but the saw would not fire. Talked with Amazon and they put me in touch with the seller who is supposed to contact me within 48 hours. We shall see.
Update – Still in contact with the seller. They do appear to want to get this saw running, although that’s somewhat difficult over the internet. The saw’s problem may relate to the absence of a throttle lock that usually is on chain saws to keep the throttle open during cold start. The owner’s manual mentions it in the starting procedures but the saw I got does not have one. There’s a place for it on the handle and the owner’s manual mentions it, but my saw only has a rubber capped hole with no mechanism behind it. Could be an assembly defect. Amazon has been very attentive so thumbs up to them. They’ve offered me a full refund of my purchase price with no obligation to return the saw. Now, unless we can figure out how the resolve the failure to start problem, the saw is just a door stop right now.

Issue with breaks but runs well
I hit the brake and brake handle jammed completely. Would not release, Tried to pull brake back with a little force and it ripped right off.
Edit! I got a new brake and forester Bar now it runs excellent. Surprised how well it runs. Even with dust bypassing the filter and other cheap design issues. Holding up.

It will surprise you
Very nicely built saw, I don’t see much difference in quality between it and a Husqvarna. Very powerful engine, so powerful I smoked the chain brake 5 seconds into firing it up. I’m not laying the blame on anyone, it could have been their fault or mine. I reached out to customer service and got a full refund on the saw so no complaints there. I like it so much I will be ordering another in a few days. And to the comments of it being hard to start, mine fired up in 6 cranks total straight out of the box. Filled with gas and oil and it fired up and that’s with it being 30 outside in KY. The next day 4 cranks setting outside all night. It starts better than my Stihl saw on cold start and the Stihl is not even a year old. This is a great saw. Edit.
Make sure you go over the filing on the chain before you start cutting. It cut crooked to start out but filing and gauging helped a bunch. Also you will need a 3/16 file for it

IT WORKS PROPERLY !
âIâve always wanted a chainsaw but was leery and apprehensive about working one and setting it up
properly. I shopped at the big box stores and was considering units at 2 to 3 times the price of this just
for peace of mind, but talked myself into trying this one and see how it goes. Well, after watching the
videos on Amazonâs site as well as a couple other youtube chainsaw videos, I broke open the box,
ordered bar/chain oil, ordered 2stroke oil to mix with the 91 octane no-ethanol gas that some experts
recommended and set the beast up. It was relatively easy but there was some learning curve with
determining which direction the chain should go on and pulling the choke out properly (a little force
is required as opposed to a gentle pull).

Bad a$$ for the money
Awesome saw for the price, did everything expected at a third of the cost.

VERY Good chainsaw
This chainsaw works just like my STIHL Farm Boss MS 271 20 in. 50.2 cc Gas Chainsaw. I rate them both the same. I don’t know why I even spent money on a STIHL when this saw his proving its worth and starts on first pull and I use it alot with no issues. It’s a animal. A must buy. Anyone who wrote a review stating it is a bad saw definitely does not know how to mix fuel and tune motor. This is a great buy and now my other family members have bought 5 more and all run like a champ
