Working Great so far
I got this GPU Card for a new entry level gaming case build. It had a great price for the features. Be aware, it comes with just the graphics card and a power cable, no instructions or anything else. Just card and cable. No problem, I went to the AMD website, and just looked up driver software for RX 580 8gb 2048sp, which was Adrenaline Edition. Downloaded software from AMD support, installed, and Card is working great. No issues so far. Running on Windows 11. The card is new, but from my research, there is some that suggest, that the GPU chip itself, my be from repurposed sources, as the chip is a 2017/2018 introduced item. And apparently they are not manufactured anymore. But this was a great chip. So I can not say definitively, but other than the main GPU chip, it is clear that the rest is a brand new manufactured build. It is working great, and have played Ghostwire Tokyo on it, and it looks great – graphics card is doing it’s job fine. For the Price, I am very happy with this card so far.

AMAZING BUDGET GPU RUN EVERYTHING WITH 16GB RAM
so its only been 2 days and havent stressed it very hard and I also upgraded the ram from 4gb to 16gb ddr3 1600hz 2x8gb sticks runs way faster just wish ram but befor it didnt stand a chance with games with no dedicated gpu only on board intel hd bs junk with no gpu memory so I did my research 3.0 work in a 2.0 so just went with the high gb gpu for the cheapest and ran across this even for being a few gens olds it does handle game well with the proper amount of ram as well 16gb ram and a 8gb gpu and running on a i5-4570 3.2ghz cpu is what im running stock cooler case open using a old stock dell optiplex….its run forza horizon 5 no issues that is the only high gpu demanding game iv tried at the moment I had window defender issue deleting my torrent files even tho everything was off that needed to be I never had such issues before with torrent but I got everything working also using a external 1Tb firecuba rgb for the game I had a perfectly fine ssd m.2 from my own rig that I tried using in a sabrent ssd adapter but think it was defected and didnt work cause ssd work fine when place back in my rig…im upgrading my father inlaws old pc for my nephew inlaw fml ask if it can play forza horizon 5 last week and iv never laughed out loude so hard in my life hes 15years old bless him so I spent the money and secretly upgraded it cause my father inlaws kinda one of those we will say just dont want him knowing I had to run the new power supply threw the back open pcie slow and tapped the new power supply to the top of the case and used the origianl since the power supply i ordered didnt have the rite pins so i left it in ghetto rigged the new power supply to just power the gpu and works fine no issues

Worst card ever!
I bought this card Dec 23rd 2024. It is now Feb 2nd. 2025. Card stopped working Feb 1st. So glad I had an integrated video on my Intel CPU. Stay clear of this card..

dirty sockets made installation painful, but great card in the end.
when you get the card running it does everything it says on its listing. it presents as an rx 580 2048sp and according to the benchmarks i ran on it it actually runs faster than average for this card, in the top 10%. one benchmark put it in the top 2%. it does indeed have 8gb ddr5.
i examined the thermal pads externally before installing the card and they seemed well applied. operating temperatures are good, not exceeding the 60s celcius so far.
the major problem i had was dirty sockets. the sockets seem not to have been cleaned since they were last used, which, judging from how dirty the card was, was a long time ago. the hdmi socket is so dirty i have given up on it. the dp sockets slowly cleaned up with repeated reinsertion of the plug, and finally i got a stable image with no glitching.
overall, for the price i can’t complain, especially knowing how old this card is before i even ordered it (at least 6 years).
it can run all the games i have thrown at it at least as well as expected and certainly all the games i want to play on the tv it’s plugged into are very smooth and playable.
tip for people having trouble finding/installing drivers: just run windows update after putting the card in, it will find and install them automatically. you can install amd adrenaline after that.
update: i found that without additional case fans temperatures creep up at 100% load. when it hit 76c running elden ring at 4k i pointed 2 120mm fans at the card and it now holds steady at 73-74c.

Note though…no drivers and minimal packaging. Windows 11 had no problem, and the correct drivers were installed with the initial update.
