Big Sound, Low Price
When the cabinet arrived it was bit larger and heavier than I expected but once I connected to my amp, a DV Mark 50 watt head it was an immediate winner. At around $45 more than just the speaker it’s a bargain, too. Scooped mid-range. Overdriven it’s just plain sweet. The can is solid and finish is good. Can’t believe I waited so long before I purchased it. My other 1×12 can is a custom made with a speaker from a Blues Junior. It’s a good piece of kit but the Monoprice is superior in sound. The big cab is great.

This is a game changer!
I paired this with a Boss Katana 50 MK2 that has been modified with a KatCab Version2 combo amp external speaker output. ( I highly recommend that mod for any combo amp) Boss makes a great amp with decent speakers, but this V12 Celestion cabinet sounds awesome! You can say, well a speaker is just a speaker until you hear the difference for yourself. This cabinet is well made and weighs about 35 pounds. The cost of just the Celestion speaker by itself is 90 percent of what this cabinet goes for. The cabinet looks good too and has an input and output to slave another speaker cab off of it on the back panel. Comes with a speaker cable included also. Well worth the money!

Absolutely incredible price — the hype is real.
This cab is well made and loaded with an excellent industry-standard speaker. I initially bought it to pair with a Boss Katana MKII head — I definitely didn’t want the 2×12 Katana cab, too large for my gigging needs.I’ve used this cab alongside my Quilter Aviator Mach III, Supro Galaxy and Boss Katana MKII — and it excels with all of them. It’s better than the matching Supro cab I have in terms of low-end and overall depth of tone — and it matches the Boss Katana in looks most excellently.Honestly, I didn’t expect it to be quite this good at the price, but there’s a good reason these are so well-regarded among guitarists. The hype is real.

Purchase This Cabinet!
Even evaluated against loaded cabs costing twice as much–which is the cost of the next most affordable options–this meets or exceeds expectations. Attractive, comes with a speaker that will delight even many pros, and it’s a solid build. Resonant, articulate, durable… I honestly couldn’t be happier with this product!

Supreme clarity and brilliance
This cab will produce amazing clarity! It likes to be driven hard, read loud. I received no paperwork with product. If one does not believe that a speaker can make all the difference then this product will change your mind. I think the output is for a satellite speaker however, I seriously doubt one will need one. This is one of the best bargains in musical hardware you may find in a lifetime. My results are from a Soldano mini SLO with a Boss ME90 all purchased on Amazon. My results represent three different guitars each with a varied pickup configurations. Highly recommended!

Great speaker at an amazing price!
This a a great little speaker. Celestion Vintage 30 speakers alone retail for $170 new, so I donât know how they made this available at this price! The speaker seems well built & sturdy & weighs about 30 lbs. The tolex seems durable & it has metal covers on the corners. Iâm just wondering how durable it is & how long the cabinet itself will last. I gave this 4 out of 5 stars, because on the top left corner on the front of the cabinet, the tolex & the white striping looks a little crooked. When looking straight at it, you canât really tell, but when youâre looking down at the speaker you can see it. Still, at this price for a wooden cabinet with nice tolex, striping, grill & a quality Celestion speaker, ya canât go wrong. My Bogner Atma sounds great through it, & it matches well & looks great!

Big, heavy and great!
UPDATE: after playing through it for a few weeks, I determined that the Vintage 30 speaker is not for me. The swap was straightforward but I did have to slightly bend a couple of the bolts to get a Jensen C12N speaker into it. The Jensen sounds great in the cab as well.—–I’ve only played through this cab for an hour or two but love it immediately. In case you are, like me, inexperienced with cabs, note this thing is BIG. My other 12″ is a Blackstar HT-5 and this cabinet is about 30% taller and 30% heavier. But it is built like a tank and the speaker is great.I’m running a HX stomp through a Quilter Superblock fx return into the cab. I’ve been struggling to get a good amp in the room sound for the stomp, while still being able to use the amp and cab sims. I’ve tried an FRFR cab, using the fx return of an analog amp and using studio monitors. None quite fit the bill but I’m finally satisfied. And of course now I can some amp heads! This part might get cut from the review so goole what a Celestion Vintage 30 speaker costs on its own (currently $169) and it comes in this (currently $199) cabinet. What a deal.

Great Value
I got this for $150 with a Celestion Vintage 30 in it. It’s made from 1/2″ plywood and has bracing along the sound board (speaker mount) edge. It’s painted inside and out, and wrapped in decent looking tolex, has a typical (cheap) handle and all the corners have protectors on them.It is 8ohm, so it works with basically any amp I have as a main or secondary speaker (when used with a combo amp). I have been using it with a Joyo Mjolnir (15 all tube head with a recto-style tone: absolutely CRANKS and CHUGS!!! with this head) as well as a Peavy Piranha (solid state, 20W, 6505 mini head) and an Orange Micro Terror (20 watt that sounds just like a plexi super lead cranked to 11 on this cabinet). It is 1/3 open back which lets it breath, but also gives it a little chug to it (good bass thump from the 12″ when you are palm mute strumming).Overall, this is probably the best deal for the money if you need a cab for a 10w-20w head. It is small enough I can use it in my 250 sq ft apartment without taking up too much floor space, but it gives me the “chug” I have been looking for in a 1×12 cab.
