   Excellent Speaker!
   This speaker is of amazing quality, sound is great, clear, bassy (when turned up) and totally a steal for the price. I’m generally skeptical about electronics that are too reasonably priced fearing there will be some technical flaws to be expected. I’ve had this thing for 2 days and I already miss it if it isn’t paired with me entertainment devices while I’m hanging out. It’s that good. Highly recommend.

   Comparable to Bose in terms of sound and bass
   A month ago, I received a rugged portable speaker at my doorstep. The package arrived intact and contained the speaker itself, a quick start guide, a charging cable, and a 3.5 mm auxiliary cable.The speaker is predominantly black with dark gray accents encircling the passive radiators. On top, it features a sizable handle, while the control buttons are positioned just below it. The front houses the speakers, while the sides accommodate the passive radiators. Two rubber feet are on the bottom of the speaker. Despite its compact size, it weighs just under 5 pounds.I successfully connected the speaker to various devices, including my PC, Android phone, and older iPad. It goes by the name “BoomHero 1” over Bluetooth, which seems fitting considering its bass capabilities. I can easily toggle the bass on or off with the press of a button labeled “BASS.” When engaged, the bass delivers an impressive thump, but I tend to disable it when I want to focus on conversations or more balanced audio.Beyond Bluetooth connectivity, the speaker also features an auxiliary port at the back. This allows me for a wired connection to devices equipped with a standard 3.5 mm audio jack, such as smartphones, tablets, or laptops. The sound output from the auxiliary port delivers a standard stereo experience.Compared to my old Bose speaker with a display, this new speaker offers comparable sound while excelling in portability, water resistance, and affordability. Unlike my old speaker, I can take this one along to the park, the beach, or simply move to another room effortlessly while my older just keeps collecting dust in the living room. With its IP67 waterproof rating, I no longer worry about it getting wet from rain or accidental spills. However, it’s worth noting that the quick start guide advises against submerging it in water. Thus, I refrain from letting it float in pools or other bodies of water. Nevertheless, I accidentally hosed it once, and it continued to play music flawlessly.The speaker offers seven distinct lighting modes, which I can cycle through by pressing the light button located on the left side, adjacent to the bass button. To turn off the lights completely, I cycle through the light modes until I see the lights off.In terms of connectivity options, the speaker has two USB ports and an auxiliary port. The standard USB port serves as a means to charge other devices, while the USB-C port is dedicated to charging the speaker itself. All of these ports are on the back and are concealed by a rubber seal that I have to lift to access them.Furthermore, I discovered that the speaker allows direct playback of audio files from a USB drive. However, I’m uncertain about the supported file formats beyond MP3, as that is the only format I have tested so far.

   great for the price
   The radio doesn’t work in my car so this was a great option so I could listen to Spotify while driving. I was surprised at how well it worked and how good it sounded for the price. It’s got a long battery life so I only have to charge it maybe once a week. I’m very happy with my choice!

   É Claro que não é um JBL mas dá pra fazer uma festinha. Sem muito conhecimento de causa, reservadamente, me arrisco a dizer que ele não tem essa potência que a descrição do aparelho diz ter . Ao ouvir som de outro aparelho com potência similar, concluo que a potência indicada do Year é bem menor. Mas nem por isso vou devolver.
