   Battery power finally surpasses gas.
   I’m a DeWalt guy through and through and had been eyeing this chainsaw for a while. Even though I believe DeWalt puts out quality products I was skeptical at the CC comparison claims but having used this saw many times I can tell you battery power has finally surpassed the power of gas imo.Pros – the saw is lightweight, powerful, quiet. It saws through the hardest of woods with ease.Cons – the saw has a tendency to overheat the batteries. I’m using a flexvolt 12ah and while that provides enough juice to take down a good size tree the bigger issue is with the batteries overheating if you’re using the saw continuously. The only other issue I have is the lack of available replacement chains as it appears DeWalt has dropped the ball on supplying 20-in chains. I believe Oregon makes a replacement chain but they’re difficult to find.Overall the saw is well built, powerful and has fully replaced my Stihl chainsaws. I’m very happy with this purchase.

   Big power & lightweight.
   DeWalt is my tested & brand of choice. Only drawback is it needs a very powerful battery to last awhile. I purchased a single 9 amp hr flex battery with a charger. No cheap investment going electric for a chainsaw but may be worth it in the long run. It does carve up 20″+ diameter logs with no strain. This comes at a cost though. You may only get about 15 min or less out of a 9 amp hr battery. One battery & fast charger cost me over $200! The chainsaw was $362. You could buy a very nice gasoline chainsaw for $500. Need to think before you buy.

   Awesome chainsaw!
   We’ve had ours for over a year now and it still runs just as amazing as the first day! We live in a wooded area and use it pretty frequently! Definitely a great purchase!

   powerful chainsaw
   I used this chainsaw to cut through 18″ diameter oak tree. Cuts amazing and has plenty of power. My only problem is that it eats through batteries. I have a 9ah battery and I will get through about 10 cuts of 18″ oak and the battery will be dead.

   This saw has power, I was able to take down a large hedge tree no problem then cut it up.

   Chain oil pump does not seem to work.
   Cuts great when paired with the dewalt battery. However, it never self oiled the chain. I have to squirt oil on it manually every few cuts. After researching it, the oil pump not working seems to be a common problem.

   Works great
   I bought this as a gift and it’s perfect for what we use it for. Have not had any issues since the purchase and the person I gifted it to has had it for at least a year and it still runs great. No issues whatsoever. Would buy again.

   Don’t buy this
   this pruning saw is a mess, it’s heavy, aucward, cumberson, the bar and chain adjustments are very dificult to adjust and keep coming loose. when you try to get Amazon to do something about it they tell you that you have to deal with the company that made it, when you try to go to them you find yourself right back at Amazon. this is a total and complete waste of money.

    Overall I’m satisfied with the power and battery,However when I used in packed branches or if I cut from the tip the chain will get out of the trackThe chain is tight I use Oregon Oil.I will try a shorter blade and chain.
