Really glad I was able to get this fan
A carpet drying fan without the shaped plastic nozzle is what this is. This fan can move some air!A lot of thought was put into this series of fan – with all the positions it can be set – with a carpet drying fan you are isolated to 1 position really – 1 sitting position to draw air in and only 1 position to expel air. This fan even has an outlet built into it – so you can daisy chain multiple fans to it. Not only that – but you can sit another fan of the same type directly on top of it – there are detents on top of it for the little rubber feet for the same fan to rest – stacking made easy – multiples won’t fall over when stacked, at least in theory.This type of fan is high volume – light weight – easy to move easy to use – versatile – what more can you ask for – except price of course. That would be the trifecta. This is one of those “you get what you pay for” instances. This fan is worth the price of admission, and if something changes I’ll update my review.

Powerful- great for quick drying
When you need high airflow to help dry out a flooded area, and don’t want a crazy-loud fan- this is it. Lightweight, very easy to use and position.

Heavy-duty
This heavy-duty downdraft fan works great. It’s very flexible and moves a ton of air. I like that this unit can be used both as a downdraft fan and as a traditional upright fan. This makes it a lot easier to fit the given situation. Also, I really like that this is a durable, industrial-quality tool that ought to stand up to hard use for a long time to come. The unit is heavy, in a good way – all the weight seems centered at the motor. But, it’s easy to haul with the built-in handle. The cord is heavy-duty, too, thick and 14AWG conductors. This becomes particularly relevant if daisy-chaining. The onboard outlet is capable of handling 10 amps while the fan is running. Plus, there’s a resettable fuse, too. In use, it’s not nearly as loud as I thought it would be. Even on high, it’s quieter than most full-sized box fans.

Small, lightweight but powerful
This fan is small but powerful. I used it a couple times to dry out flooring that was water soaked from broken pipes. It did a fantastic job. It’s powerful yet not as loud as my other fans are. It is a very sturdy fan and seems to be well built. It’s lightweight but carries a powerful punch for the money. It’s great that it has receptacles that you can plug other stuff into it. Nice fan for the price. Great value.

Effective, quick drying in a lightweight ergonomic fan
I have an older big floor fan that tilts, and it’s a pain to move around and very loud.This Mounto fan is lightweight and really moves air. I like the two settings, and the additional plug on the top (for daisy chaining apparently).While this fan has feet on two sides, if you flip it facing up – it does not function well. Granted, I don’t know what I would want to dry directly above me. I guess if you had a leaky ceiling you may want to lift this up on some cinder blocks then flip it vertically on top to get that airflow from underneath.

GREAT utility fan!
I love this fan: nice and rugged, and it really moves air. It’s hard to believe how small it is considering how powerful it is. I love the design: the expansion plugin is an amazingly awesome and useful feature. I hope I never need it for something like a water leak in the basement, but if I do, I will be VERY glad to have this. It will also be great for those super hot summer days to get some air moving on the patio. It will also come in handy for home renovation projects like mudding or anything really that requires something to dry.All in all, this is a great fan and an easy recommendation for sure.
