To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.Learn more how customers reviews work on Amazon

First off, if you’re trying to decide between products, I was very happy with both the Treblab HD77 (smaller) AND the Treblab HD Max! Both off impeccable sound quality, response, and bass. Of course a larger diaphragm means more sound and even more bass, so the HD Max blows its little brother out of the water, hands down. Much better sound and construction quality than other brands; price too. I bought my HD Max for my theater projector actually. The awkwardness of dragging around a sound bar and trying to find appropriate placement within or outside of my house is a pain. With the Bluetooth capability and or 3/8 direct input cable good connecting great sound is a snap. The HD Max is built for travel. It’s also not going to keel over and die when subjected to some light rain, splash from a nearby pool, or a spilled drink. Treblab products are simply built like a tank. And the will play for hours on end on a single charge. Using your phone to play music and you get a call, no problem! You can use the speaker for that too. There really is very little that I can find to complain about Treblab’s speakers. This wouldn’t be an honest review however if I didn’t include a couple of minor issues. My biggest complaint with the HD Max (or HD77 for that matter) is the low power warning that you get when nearing empty. Don’t get me wrong, warnings are good, but not when you’re using power to warn me that it’s going to shut off. You’re just robbing me of rocking out to the last few minutes of the song I was listening to. Not to mention the frequency in which the interruption comes. I think a better option would be using a light system. Example: lit green = full power, yellow = moderate, red = need to recharge. There’s really no reason to audibly tell me I need to charge my Treblab; I’ll know when it dies after all. Lastly, and mind you this is purely a limitation of the technology itself and not Treblab’s fault, I can’t wait until the day that using Bluetooth means no longer sacrificing volume. It’s a story as old as time itself, trying to find the balance between quality and functionality. When you take on the flexibility and convenience of the portability that comes with Bluetooth, you are not going to get the same performance that you would with a corded, uninterrupted, powered version of another audio source of equal measure. That said, Treblab is pretty damn close! Best audio investment I’ve ever made. Bottom line, you will not be sorry!12/04/22 – Okay, now I’m a little sorry…..So I’m not going to bad-mouth Treblab, I still have had predominantly good experiences with them and their products. That being said, my HD Max is now dead after 1.5 years. The warranty is good for 1 year, so in fairness, Treblab has fulfilled their promise. No one assumes a purchase will crap out soon after than time though. Usually they last a few years and the buyer understands that after the warranty expires, if you “break it” it won’t be serviced for free. I hadn’t done anything different, the rubber enclosure has always been kept closed aside from charging, it was never around humidity, water, or dropped. It just stopped charging one day. Sad 😭. So, I’m not asserting that if you buy this product it will happen to you, nor do I know how often it happens in general to this product. Also, the customer service agent was very nice and professional in attempting to help me revive my, now useless, heavy-a$$, paperweight. I have to reduce my initial impression of a 5 star review to a 3 star now. In comparison, my Treblab HD77, although smaller and cheaper, has been chugging along with no problems and purchased 1-2 years before the HD Max, as much more robust and expensive speaker. As always, buyer beware.
Super easy to connect, works great. This thing bangs. Bass is deep sound is awesome. Everything the JBL offers but not paying for the name. You won't be disappointed.
I just bought it for my birthday in February this year (seven months ago). The battery takes a long time to charge (USB type C), and the battery life is not as great. I have a W-King external speaker that is five years old, and the battery not only charges faster but lasts longer. Other than that, the sound is GREAT. *update* Customer service reached out and heard about my concern. They sent me a replacement, and this one addressed some of the flaws in my battery life and other complaints. The battery life was improved from my original. They put a base on it so that it doesn't roll around, and one of the biggest things is that the charging port isn't on the bottom.
So…. was shocked to see the product i ordered wasn't the one advertised. I actually got the LATEST VERSION THAT I DIDN'T KNOW WAS OUT!!! The controls are a slight bit different and it has more features… It's pretty cool actually.
Pretty loud but not as loud as i was expecting. Still definitely worth the buy.
Edit, so it doesn't sound that loud up close, but you van hear them from pretty far away. Battery lasts a decent amount of time. I bought 2 of them, one always dies a long time before the other. I believe it's because 1 is master the other is slave.
Charging port is a slow charger, but it's better than nothing. There's lights on the new model as well. Oneset of lights tell you battery, the other tells you sound mode, then there are aesthetic lights as well. All in all it's simple and straightforward set up. Sounds great. Is loud enough and looks good. Just wish it was a little louder.
Love these. They bang. GOOD QUALITY sound. I use 2 of them (they sync with each other) in my backyard during parties. Weather resistant, so if you’ve got wet conditions, you are totally good.

While I was looking to get something a bit cheaper but close to a jbl as possible I stumbled upon this. I turned it on and the sound is great, the bass is perfect and the lights are cool for evening listening.
I bought my Treblab HD Max around December of 2021. I didn't open the Amazon package it came in until around August of 2022, but when I did, I was impressed with the size, build quality, and the sound immediately. I am an OTR commercial driver, and I'm rarely at home to enjoy the products I buy. I spent a total of 13 days at home in 2022, so I may have charged and used my speaker twice that year. I bought my speaker to have music to listen to without having to cover my ears, or put anything in them, while I ride my beach cruiser. On to year 2023, I was home even less, and for a total of 8 days the entire year. Although I did give my speaker a little more use, I still charged and used it no more than 5 times for the entire year. Now last night is the first time I've used my speaker while on the road, and my first time using it in 2024, and it died on me. It won't charge. It won't light up. It won't make any sounds. I have combed the internet, YouTube, and Treblab's website for answers. I have applied the reset instructions repeatedly, and paperclip pressed the hard reset button also. Still….nothing…..This is sooooo disappointing that I got so little use out of a product that I paid so much money for. I will be reaching out to Treblab"s support, and good or bad, I will update my review once I talk with them about it. As of right now it gets 1 star, and that's because it gave me a bit of excitement when I finally opened it…

I hesitated about spending so much on this but now I am more than happy I did. We spent a weekend in the north fourty repairing a mile of fencing to our favorite tunes. I didn't give the battery life a higher rating as I don't know yet.

Music to my ears
After reading about others, I purchased this speaker. Not only did I save a lot of money, but I believe that for the Price, the Size, the features and the sound quality, I made out like a bandit. I like the portability of it. Ease of use and the excellent sound you received from it regardless of music genre. Highly recommend it.

When you take on the flexibility and convenience of the portability that comes with Bluetooth, you are not going to get the same performance that you would with a corded, uninterrupted, powered version of another audio source of equal measure. That said, Treblab is pretty damn close! Best audio investment Iâve ever made. Bottom line, you will not be sorry!12/04/22 – Okay, now Iâm a little sorry…..So Iâm not going to bad-mouth Treblab, I still have had predominantly good experiences with them and their products. That being said, my HD Max is now dead after 1.5 years. The warranty is good for 1 year, so in fairness, Treblab has fulfilled their promise. No one assumes a purchase will crap out soon after than time though. Usually they last a few years and the buyer understands that after the warranty expires, if you âbreak itâ it wonât be serviced for free. I hadnât done anything different, the rubber enclosure has always been kept closed aside from charging, it was never around humidity, water, or dropped. It just stopped charging one day. Sad ð. So, Iâm not asserting that if you buy this product it will happen to you, nor do I know how often it happens in general to this product.

I hesitated about spending so much on this but now I am more than happy I did. We spent a weekend in the north fourty repairing a mile of fencing to our favorite tunes. I didn’t give the battery life a higher rating as I don’t know yet.

Great Customer Service (updated)
I just bought it for my birthday in February this year (seven months ago). The battery takes a long time to charge (USB type C), and the battery life is not as great. I have a W-King external speaker that is five years old, and the battery not only charges faster but lasts longer. Other than that, the sound is GREAT.*update*Customer service reached out and heard about my concern. They sent me a replacement, and this one addressed some of the flaws in my battery life and other complaints. The battery life was improved from my original. They put a base on it so that it doesn’t roll around, and one of the biggest things is that the charging port isn’t on the bottom.

Better and worse than expected.
So…. was shocked to see the product i ordered wasn’t the one advertised. I actually got the LATEST VERSION THAT I DIDN’T KNOW WAS OUT!!! The controls are a slight bit different and it has more features… It’s pretty cool actually.Pretty loud but not as loud as i was expecting. Still definitely worth the buy.Edit, so it doesn’t sound that loud up close, but you van hear them from pretty far away. Battery lasts a decent amount of time. I bought 2 of them, one always dies a long time before the other. I believe it’s because 1 is master the other is slave.Charging port is a slow charger, but it’s better than nothing. There’s lights on the new model as well. Oneset of lights tell you battery, the other tells you sound mode, then there are aesthetic lights as well. All in all it’s simple and straightforward set up. Sounds great. Is loud enough and looks good. Just wish it was a little louder.

Loud AF. Waterproof.
Love these. They bang. GOOD QUALITY sound. I use 2 of them (they sync with each other) in my backyard during parties. Weather resistant, so if youâve got wet conditions, you are totally good.

Worth the money!
While I was looking to get something a bit cheaper but close to a jbl as possible I stumbled upon this. I turned it on and the sound is great, the bass is perfect and the lights are cool for evening listening.

Sorely Disappointed….
I bought my Treblab HD Max around December of 2021. I didn’t open the Amazon package it came in until around August of 2022, but when I did, I was impressed with the size, build quality, and the sound immediately. I am an OTR commercial driver, and I’m rarely at home to enjoy the products I buy. Now last night is the first time I’ve used my speaker while on the road, and my first time using it in 2024, and it died on me. It won’t charge. It won’t light up. It won’t make any sounds. I have combed the internet, YouTube, and Treblab’s website for answers. I have applied the reset instructions repeatedly, and paperclip pressed the hard reset button also. Still….nothing…..This is sooooo disappointing that I got so little use out of a product that I paid so much money for. I will be reaching out to Treblab”s support, and good or bad, I will update my review once I talk with them about it. As of right now it gets 1 star, and that’s because it gave me a bit of excitement when I finally opened it…

Treblab HD Max, you WILL NOT be sorry!!!
First off, if youâre trying to decide between products, I was very happy with both the Treblab HD77 (smaller) AND the Treblab HD Max! Itâs also not going to keel over and die when subjected to some light rain, splash from a nearby pool, or a spilled drink. Treblab products are simply built like a tank. And the will play for hours on end on a single charge. Using your phone to play music and you get a call, no problem! You can use the speaker for that too. There really is very little that I can find to complain about Treblabâs speakers. This wouldnât be an honest review however if I didnât include a couple of minor issues. My biggest complaint with the HD Max (or HD77 for that matter) is the low power warning that you get when nearing empty. Donât get me wrong, warnings are good, but not when youâre using power to warn me that itâs going to shut off. Youâre just robbing me of rocking out to the last few minutes of the song I was listening to. Not to mention the frequency in which the interruption comes. I think a better option would be using a light system. Example: lit green = full power, yellow = moderate, red = need to recharge. Thereâs really no reason to audibly tell me I need to charge my Treblab; Iâll know when it dies after all. Lastly, and mind you this is purely a limitation of the technology itself and not Treblabâs fault, I canât wait until the day that using Bluetooth means no longer sacrificing volume. Itâs a story as old as time itself, trying to find the balance between quality and functionality.
