    Functionality
Great helmet! It fits well. It stays in place easily while cutting trees in dense brush. I had a stihl helmet prior to this that had broken. That product worked fine, but this helmet is far superior.

    pro-level helmet
got for boyfriend, he says pro-level quality, good ear protection. live in NH woods, chopping many trees, hoping to protect brain cells.

    Perfect
I was looking for a helmet with a lower profile face screen and this fit the bill. Fits good. Light weight. Adjustable. And screen isn’t bulky or awkward to open or close.

    Great fit
I’m hardly a pro feller or an arborist, but I have used a chainsaw for 20 years to drop dead trees, mostly madrones (some 18 inches, 50 – 60 feet) then buck and split them for firewood.A dry madrone canopy is a really treacherous hazard: there are lots of small things that can shatter and drop on you and some quite large branches that are brittle and break loose, so you never want to be without a good helmet.I started with an inexpensive Stihl, and it seemed okay but for it slid around on my head no matter how I adjusted the suspension. So I borrowed my wife’s Husqvarna helmet (slightly higher priced than the Stihl) and liked it better.Still, I couldn’t get a perfect fit, and as with the suboptimal fit distracted me as I moved my head while working. (I don’t like being distracted when I have in my hands a buzzing chainsaw . . .)So I gambled on this and it has turned out to be fabulous. Once it’s on and properly adjusted, I don’t even know it’s there. It’s comfortable and never moves. I am no longer distracted, and I wonder why in the name of god I didn’t spring for this sooner.Dumb me. But I finally got what I needed.

Still using mine after close to 3 years.
Homeowner here.I use mine for both chainsawing and weedwacking. So it’s getting used every weekend during mowing season.I live in Central Texas, and because it’s vented, and includes a rear neck protection shield, I feel much cooler doing my yard work. (I also wear long sleeve sun shirts, and CamelBak in the heat. The CamelBak itself helps keep the sun off my back.) Because of its coolness and comfort in hot weather, I actually ‘want’ to wear it just as an extra benefit in protection from the heat. Breeze goes through it easily, cooling the sweat on my head while keeping the sun off.The visor works well, easily flips up and down as I work. It’s kept plenty of rocks and sticks from impacting my face while weedeating. Still need eye protection though. The steel mesh visor lets dirt and fine sawdust fly through. (Extra benefit of a mesh shield in general, I learned to keep my chin down so that chips and weeds don’t get in my shirt collar. Less itchiness after I’m done outdoors.)The only thing I wish were different is if the visor were easily removable. I can see how it attaches to the helmet, but I wouldn’t trust it in terms of detaching and re-attaching. Because I have some head-level hazards on my property, I wouldn’t mind just keeping it on as a bump helmet as I move around. So I have other products for that.I’ve seen reviews over the past few years complaining about durability of the face shield hinges and hear protection.Mine have given me no issues. But: Mine has never been dropped, and it’s back in the original box and on a shelf in my garage between uses. My garage interior still gets in the 90’s during the worst months, and I hope to keep the foam in the ear muffs from drying up. (Past issue with ear pro in the past.)So my durability experience might be influenced by lack of knocks and drops. But in weekly use for its intended purpose, it’s held up 100%.

    Expensive but worth every penny.
Must have gear for felling small and big trees. Never know what’s up there. I cut for many years without helmet, feels so much better not getting whipped by branches.

  7. Ted Metzgar

    Outstanding Quality
I’ve had several helmets for brush and logging work and this one is outstanding! I deliberately chose a more expensive version of the Husqvarna helmet because you can get replacement parts if need be. The fit and ear protector operation is exceptional. The visor has springs for holding it in place as opposed to a friction type system. It will always work properly. I’ve had cheaper import helmets and when something breaks, there are no replacement parts available and I have to throw it away. Obviously, I highly recommend this product.

    Nice upgrade
I had the cheaper version from Husqvarna and it was ok. My wife started helping me chip up branches and had a branch scratch her cornea and so I gave he my old helmet and got this upgrade. Soooo much more comfortable and adjustable. I really like the hard frame and spring loaded hinge on the mesh face screen. The old helmet the screen kept getting bent. I hope this one hold up for as long as the old one did.

  9. Shaun Walker

Good fit .quick adjustment on band to fit snug .Good noise protection. Good ventilation but still sweat a little.

Ce casque est vraiment bien, le réglage du tour de tête très pratique. Le casque anti-bruit s’adapte bien et est confortable. Je ne regrette pas du tout cet achat un peu cher.
