Much better than expected
Is this truly a 5 star item? Maybe not, but for the value and functionality and no option for a 1/2 star in between, I had to give it a full endorsement. This little saw is much more powerful than I expected it to be and six inches serves much of what I need a chainsaw for. It cut through my mango tree branches like butter and even did well with a denser oak tree. It’s really an amazing deal for $40. Super easy to use and store. Plus it comes with a case, two batteries, gloves and goggles. Obviously not meant for big jobs but for regular maintenance and pruning it’s a nice tool.

Decent little saw
I always thought these were a gimmick, but it actually cuts quite well. About the same as my electric pole saw, which I’m fairly certain has the exact same motor, despite being a different brand. I don’t love it, but it works pretty well. The chain likes to get loose, and twigs like to get under the plastic guard and knock the chain out of its groove sometimes. The tightening screw is at its limit, and the chain is still a bit looser than it should be. I’ve had to remove the cover and fix the chain several times for various reasons. The safety button is a bit clunky. On the plus side, it does come with most of the tools you need to oil and adjust it, and two batteries. They last longer than I expected. I wish they had a power meter on them. For its cost, it’s a good tool. I appreciate that it comes with an extra chain. It’s been useful in clearing thick brush and small trees that are cluttering up my woods. It can be tough to keep it steady because of its compactness and light weight, but I can’t complain too much. It’s a lot quieter and safer than a gas chainsaw for smaller trees and branches. Just keep it oiled. The ad says oil free design, but that just means it doesn’t have a self-oiling feature. You should oil it at least after every time you finish using it. Your chain and bar will last longer, and it will cut better. It comes with sharpening files, too. So that’s nice. All in all, I like it. It just has some drawbacks that make it a tad bit irritating.

A New Essential Tool
I put this thing through the ringer. Iâve cut down about a dozen 20-30 ft trees with it, used it to cut up the limbs, and cut up firewood.
PROS/CONS
It will run for about 15 minutes *of use* on each battery. Always make sure youâre charging them when it in use. The chains are sharp but slowly wear down, but thankfully thereâs a spare that comes with the package. This tool saved me untold HOURS of hacking with an ax and hatchet. For $50 you get what you pay for which is a decently made tool but the concept, ease of use, and power it has makes it a new essential tool.

Awesome little saw. I was very surprised with the performance of this saw. I trimmed a lot of branches and some good size ones at that. The batteries lasted a long time. I was even able to cut a tree down that was about 11â in diameter.

Making quick work of my tree cutting tasks
This is my 2nd tiny chainsaw (I previously had a different brand – which I had worn out over time & needed to replace). I was very pleased with how powerful that this chainsaw is & how quickly that I can cut through limbs with it. It is also lightweight & easy to manage. I like that this chainsaw has a safety sleeve to cover the chainsaw, when not in use & comes with safety gear (gloves & safety glasses). The batteries seem to be holding a charge & have a decent battery life.

Update (8/19/22): Seesii customer service reached out to me and sent me an updated version of the saw with the thermal cut-off issue fixed. If they are now shipping this updated version of the saws to customers, I can attest that after an hour or so of heavy use, the saw seems to operate properly. It’s light, it cuts well, it’s the right tool for pruning trees and cutting brush.

First off, I’ve been cutting firewood for many years – I own several chainsaws as well as a cordless polesaw. I say this to establish that I know what I’m doing.
I’m cleaning up a bunch of brush around the house and I figured this would be perfect for trimming branches. And it was for the first 10 minutes or so! After cutting a few dozen 1-2 inch branches (stopping periodically to manually oil the chain), it suddenly shut off. I figure that the thermal protection triggered (which is weird, because I didn’t overwork it at all). After letting it cool down for 20 minutes or so, I restarted but didn’t get through more than 2-3 branches before the same thing happened again. It got progressively worse until it wouldn’t cut more than one branch without shutting off. I had to finish the job with a pair of manual garden pruners.
I tried switching the batteries and I let it cool down (note that it was a cool, overcast day and I wasn’t over-working the tool). Maybe I got a lemon, but other reviews have mentioned the same thing and I think it might be a design flaw.

Encantado con el minimotosierra. Me lo recomendó un amigo y es perfecto. Ojalá y dure. Corto ramas gordas y lo utilizo para la poda de olivos y árboles frutales. Las 2 baterias me duran todo el dia, tal y como las utilizo yo. Me quita mucho esfuerzo. Ya no utilizo la sierra manual.
