Rather than the product itself being the problem, the seller’s conscience is the problem.
Reliability of Ryobi’s own products also declines.
Returns are also not possible as the consumer has to pay the same amount as the cost of the product.

Missing Battery
I returned this after finding it was missing the 4Ah battery. I requested a replacement and it was also kissing the 4Ah battery. Donât know if Ryobi messed up a batch or the seller Is pulling a fast one. Fail x 2

Not High Performance Batteries as the listing pictures show.
Received the standard Ryobi 18v lithium battery starter kit. Yes, I should have checked the model number in the listing, but when all the pictures show the High Performance batteries, maybe I’ll get the High Performance batteries. The price I paid is good for the standard lithium battery starter kit, but that is not what is pictured. Also, listed as “Charger Sold Separately” and “with charger”, my kit actually came with a charger. After reading other reviews (missing battery), not sure what I might receive. The listing should accurately picture and describe what you are buying, otherwise it seems like a bait and switch. And with 34 different sellers to choose from, you have plenty of choices.

The Ryobi charger does not work with the electricity here in Thailand. Even with the proper adapters or universal plug, both chargers I have ordered blew out within 5 minutes of use. The batteries are great and a universal charger with the right power charges them perfect.
