They work great!
They work great! Very bright so its easy for drivers to see your turn signals. The magnetic mount hold very well. I did some trail riding and they never budged. My ony caveat is that they are kind of small so they can be easy to misplace when they are off your bike. Keep that in mind and you have a great safety accessory for your bike.

Safety
I bought 7one on each side of the front fork and back. Facing sideways two facing backwards and one on the back of my helmet. Flashing in unison. I know it seams like a lot of lights on one bike. I live in the foothills with windy roads. Alls I know is the cars slow down a lot more now that I have them compared to just 2 flashing light.

Firefly Mini complete a great Lumos bike lighting echo system
I love my Lumos helmets since the kickstarter days and have seen them grow into a bike lighting eco-system that helps me be seen better on the road. In the video I shared that is Lumos firefly minis on the left and right handle bars, firefly on the bike rack and a Lumos Matrix helmet. I have also used the ultra with this setup. Both work great and help signal to traffics in front and behind me what is going on. As the days are shorter and more overcast, I have seen cars notice when biking on the road. This in extra safety that is better than a hand gesture.Charging is simple. Minis are usbc compatible and charge pretty quickly. They do need to be charged more than the regular fireflies but that is due to size. The magnates are strong. They are not going to wiggle out of their spots. If I had to point out a little weakness itâs the clips for bags. They are good but not great. I think if the clip back was longer it would fit a little better on my panniers but this is a minor gripe.I would always get the upgraded remote for breaking. It does need its sensitivity dialed in and will burn the battery a bit more but itâs worth the signaling you are stopping. (Note: there is a newer remote that is like the old one that is now USBC. So newer purchases I think get the new UBC remote.) One downside could be that remote requires a special charging cable. If you have older Lumos itâs the same at the helmets. There is a newer usbc version of that remote though.Anyone who wants to ride on the road with cars or in darker months, highly recommend the Lumos helmets and lights. The firefly minis are versatile in placement due to size, weights and mounts and make great visibility lights!

Pricey, But Quality Bike Lights
We’re a biking household and I specifically ordered this kit of 4 lights for my kids. After learning a bit more about these lights, I’m going to transition these to my bike and keep the bike lights on my kids bikes more simple.âºYou Should Know:Pay particular attention when ordering! Not every Lumos Firefly kit comes with a remote. I assumed that the remote would be included for the price. I was wrong. Our 4x Firefly Mini Kit does not include a remote. You can use an app for controlling the lights, but that is just so much less usable than a dedicated remote, and a non-starter for my kids bikes.âºCharging:I appreciate that the Firefly Mini Lights use USB-C. I mean it’s basically standard in everything now. But, there’s no included drop-in charger. Meaning each light requires it’s own USB-C connection to charge. I have a USB charging hub in my home, and it’s basically a requirement to use this product. Again, for the price, a simultaneous charging solution would’ve been nice.âºLight Performance:I own a Lumos helmet and already knew that this company makes top-notch products. The Firefly Mini Lights are also top-notch lights. You can use these lights completely standalone and separate from the remote or app, which is nice. The lights are small, but very bright, and visible. Included in the box are multiple mounting options.âºClosing:Great lights, but I’m slightly put off by the lack of a remote. The remote retails separately for $35… which is just bonkers. But then again, these are top-quality lights and accessories.

Short time on charge and difficult to set up
This was a neat idea but really complicated set up – there’s so many different pieces that are needed to set it up and not the best instructions. The lights also do not hold a charge for very long so you have to charge them regularly.

Bright and easy to use
Finally a set of direction signals for the front and rear of your bike, that can be controlled with one switch to work both. There pricey but you get what you pay for.

Best turn signals hands down
Best turn signals Iâve ever used on a bicycle. Vey bright & very versatile & VVEY ERY BRIGHT!I absolutely recommend these lights, they arenât cheap but they are worth every penny & their product support is top notch!I would also recommend getting the remote, the rear mounting kit & the handlebar mounting kit to go with them as well.
