   Great saw!
   I cut trees for extra money on the side, coming from the tree service side of things, this thing is a power house, only problems was the screws for the handle are kind of weak and feel like they wanna strip and the roller on the dogs needs a lock nut or picture for the bolt but no big deal

   Good saw ! Holzfforma G 660 !
   Glad I got it. I needed a larger saw but didn’t want to spend $1700 . G660 with a 25″ bar and chain. Arrived in 3 days after I ordered. Comes with limited asseries. A few tools and a owners manual . No assembly instructions. Need to find video online. But don’t let that stop you. Get it .

   Wood Eatin’ Savage
   Like the title says, a Wood Eatin’ Savage. I’ve cut down several big trees and sliced and quartered into them into cords of fire logs and I’m still impressed every time that I use it. Add a chisel point, skip tooth chain and it performs even better.
   It was a struggle learning to start it but now I know the sequence and it’s no big chore. Start yanking with it in choke position (lever full down) until the comp release pops out, stop pulling and move the lever to the center position (no choke, throttle held open), mash the comp release button and pull until it starts, or after 5 or so pulls, go back to full choke then move the lever to the center position (which takes the choke off but keeps the throttle open) and pull a few times until it starts. If it doesn’t you likely flooded it and will have to be cleared before it will start. Once warm, you can easily restart by moving to the center position and drop start it. Mine almost always starts on the first pull, and if not I repeat the no choke, throttle open procedure and it does.
   One flaw that I needed to fix is the chain tensioner mechanism. The tensioner gear shaft end rides in a casting slot that’s too wide and allows the gear shaft to slop around, which in turn binds the tensioner gears. Make a short bushing from 3/16″ thin wall brass tubing to slip over the gear end of the shaft to take up some of the slop and the tensioner will then perform as intended.

   Fantastic saw!
   Love this saw! We’ve cut about 40 trees with this monster! The bar doesn’t even have wear on the paint yet! We are on the original chain as well! Still cutting great! When we first used the chain was spitting out wood ribbons it’s so sharp! Highly recommended!! Would definitely buy again! Definitely use loc tite on the few bolts you don’t want to go anywhere.

   Nice for the price, but…
   This saw is everything it’s cracked up to be power wise. However, the chain tensioner is junk and the hardware is questionably machined. Definitely assemble with lock-tite and don’t expect the plastics or the controls to feel as sturdy as a Stihl . Chain and bar provided are good quality and durable, would definitely recommend. Keep in mind this is a budget option. Great for the hard working home owner. But if you’re gonna be running things hard and have expectations of daily use then pay the extra and just get a Stihl.

   Great product
   The only thing I’m not liking about this Chainsaw is there is a specific sequence to starting this saw and it’s not in the book.. the sequence is this you put saw in full choke push compression button in, engage chain lock for safety only, pull coord till compression button pops even a tiny bit is good enough but DONT PULL COORD AGAIN YET or you’ll flood the damn thing, then you push compression button in again put in half choke or to the on position, I haven’t figured out if there is or where the half choke position is, then you pull coord till it starts… and it starts pretty easily if you do it exactly that way. But If you smell gas real bad you flooded it and need to start all over after deflooding chamber.. This saw is very easy to flood if you pull coord even one time after the compression button pops it will flood immediately .. At least this has been my experience with the chainsaw bluethunder g660 holzfforma 24 in bar and chain.. Cause I didn’t do this sequence exactly cause I didn’t know to do it found in a forum, it took me days to get this chainsaw to start and a bunch of needless tinkering as well just to end up putting everything back exactly how it was out of the box minus the spark plug.
