TAKES ME BACK!
This console is awesome! The video and sound quality are outstanding for the money, and every bit as good as I remember! In fact, given the improved picture quality of my modern TV, this is far better than anything I remember from the 80âs
The cartridge I used gave me some trouble, but hitting reset a few times straightened it right out.
The console itself seems well made. It is very lightweight. It uses Nintendo style controller ports so I think original controllers would work. However, the ones supplied seem great!
Someone else mentioned that more modern multi-game cartridges donât work on these modern knock-offs. But Iâm sticking with classic Nintendo games so it seems this was a great choice!

Well worth the price. Pleasantly surprised!
The audio isnât perfect and you really need to yank your cartridge out when youâre done with it, but this is perfect for the average NES enthusiast.
The picture quality is perfect but the audio is lacking. The system is compact, light and cheap seeming but thatâs to be expected.
Itâs worked great for the month Iâve had it. The controllers are okay as well, but weâve been using original NES controllers for the most part.
Absolutely worth the price. I plan on buying a few more just to have them at several TVs. Theyâre cheap enough where I donât have to worry about lugging around my NES toploader.

You’re getting what you pay for–not the best, but also not the worst.
You’re not getting a $200+ FPGA console here. The sound is a little crunchy. It won’t play the second level of Battle Toads. It won’t play Paper Boy. Enhanced sound processing won’t work properly. But if you just want to pop in that copy of Super Mario Bros./Duck Hunt and play it again without spending a ton, this thing will do it just fine…. and plugged into a CRT, the light gun will work, which can’t be said about some of the expensive FPGA systems!
It will play most of the NES library without any issues, and I have tested multiple Famicom games (with adapter) and they have worked fine as well.
The controllers are pretty decent for third party, and it comes with two–those alone are probably worth the purchase price!
So yeah. Not the best, but for the price, it isn’t too bad, either.

Awesome lightweight and just like the old school NES but better
I was very skeptical at first about purchasing this however I must say is very lightweight and compact you can travel with this and also it doesn’t take up much room. I honestly think it’s better than the old school NES systems because not only is it lightweight but it plays all the same Mario games and it’s half of the price honestly I’ve had no problems with this video game console and I love the Mario Brothers games that are compatible with it

Great for One-Player
Easy setup. Everything worked great, except we could never get the two-player function to work no matter what we did. One-player worked great, but we ended up sending it back and getting a system that works equally as well AND allows for two players.

Better than original
So far been awesome. Better than the original. I have both and this plays the games much easier

doesn’t play Dr. Mario (very well)
tested 2 perfectly fine dr. mario cartridges on this system. Plays the game, but graphics were terrible vs. the NES. didn’t test any other game, but this thing is going right back.

Worked well at first.
We played all our original NES games with success for about 2 weeks. Now the system either won’t stay on (seems to be a defective power button) or it won’t turn off and you can’t successfully switch games. It’s now basically uselesss.
