Had issues but it was resolved
I bought this item for travel, it was working great until one day it just stop working. I was unsure reason why, as I only had this item for about 1 year. First let me say that it worked great very easy for travel, it come in case travel case which is great. It has a wall plug and plug for your car, but if you have a EV car you are out of luck. Very long battery usage I was stuck at the airport and battery lasted for about 6 hour with having to plug it back in. I reach out to the company and ask for help to trouble shoot, I received a quick response, and they tried to walk me thur the issues I was having with no resolve. I was ask to do a video of the issue I was having. So I did a video and sent it to the company, I was ask to send the Powkey back so they could take a look at it. The Powkey was unable to be fixed so the company sent me replacement Powkey. I just want to say, they will try to fix the issue first, and there will be several emails between you and the company to try to fix the issues and you might have to do one than one video to send to them and you might have to send the Powkey to them to look at it which you have to pay for the shipping.I like companies that will help resolve issues with there products, I would buy from this company again because I think there customer services is great. I also want to say I was not paid to do this review and I bought this Powkey with my own hard earn money.

    Great emergency power source!
Clear winner! Well, of course, I didn’t compare every product available, but out of the half-dozen or so I chose to test, this one “shined!” I was going on a mission trip to Liberia. I was told that access to electricity was scarce and that even when you are hooked up to electrical service, it isn’t reliable. So true! So, I started a quest for the best backup power source to suit my needs. Mainly, I use a CPAP machine and I didn’t want to spend another $1,000 for a “medical” grade battery for it. Most of these things are designed for outdoor and camping-type use, although, they can be used indoors just fine. This one seemed a bit more “refined,” and is designed primarily for indoor use. It would work outdoors, just keep the rain off of it. It is rechargable with almost any solar panels, but I didn’t need that, so I didn’t test that feature. It comes with a little 2-amp wall charger that charges it from fully discharged in about 3 hrs. Even though the wall charger does get quite hot, it worked fine. You can also charge it from a car battery or other 12vdc source, and of course solar panels. Since it is humid at my destination, I detached the humidifier from my CPAP and left it at home. That accounts for about 95% (guesstimate) of the power drain. Any heating device is a huge drain on a power source. I also eliminated the two ac-dc conversions which is also a power drain. (The POWKEY provides 115vac output as well as the 12vdc. Everytime you convert energy from ac to dc, or vice versa, energy from your battery source is consumed, i.e. converted to heat and wasted. So, by eliminating use of the power supply on the CPAP and by not using the power inverter on the POWKEY, I knew I would get maximum effeciency.) The CPAP uses 12vdc which is what this POWKEY provides. So, I plugged the CPAP directly into the POWKEY’s 12vdc output port. I DID have to buy a proprietary cable from the CPAP manufacturer thru Amazon as direct wiring didn’t work. I think it has to do with noise suppression for the electronics in the CPAP, but that is a guess. With that cable, it worked flawlessly. By not using the ac connections, it saved a lot of battery capacity. Although, the POWKEY does have the ac outlets, and I expect it would have worked fine that way. They advertise a “perfect sine wave output.” I don’t have an oscilloscope to verify that, but when I hooked the POWKEY up to a table lamp with an led bulb, it powered up smoothly and flawlessly to a full, constant light source. When I did this with the other power units I was testing, the light flickered slightly when fully powered up. Not cool. It means that the other power device did NOT supply a perfect sine wave. That’d give ya headache fast! That was all I needed to see. Likely, the POWKEY DOES indeed provide a near-perfect sine wave. (From my engineering background, it is very difficult to achieve this, but MOST desireable especially for electronics.) After using it on this trip, I am so pleased with it. I never write reviews on products, but I had to put in my 2¢ on this exceptional product. BTW, I could run my CPAP (without humidifier) on direct dc current from the POWKEY for at least four nights before it needed re-charging!!I highly recommend this device.

Garbage. Please read the real reviews (1&2*)Worked for 11 months then Died Completely
At first I really liked this power bank. But then out of no where after about 11 months of minimal use, it failed to turn on, recharge , nothing worked..completely dead.. Even with the power cord plugged in, it wouldn’t work. It wouldn’t turn on or take a charge.. I have portable anker power banks that have lasted 5 plus years. This didn’t even last a full year. Of course it’s passed the return window so I have no recourse. Extremely disappointing as this was expensive (for me) and I bought for long work travels, emergencies, camping trips etc.. only used it a few times in my home.. and it failed completely right at their warranty period.. I’m still fighting this battle to get a refund..talked with Amazon, however, because it was past their return window and the companies warranty period, no go:( it was a 30 minute convo and they sent a message to the company telling me if they hadn’t responded in 60 days, Amazon would contact me and go over refund options.. it’s been 6 months and none of that has happened… Would not recommend this device to anyone. It will eventually fail you. The company doesn’t stand by their products and something like this should have at least a 3 year warranty. Also, having the AC outlets are cool but they drain the battery 3 to 4 times as fast as the other ports even if your charging the same thing. I tested it to see if the AC or USB would charge my phone faster. Not only was the USB faster but the AC ports drained the battery much quicker. It reallyDoesn’t matter because I wouldn’t recommend anyone buy this product. Read the reviews.. look at how many people say the exact same thing.. don’t fall for this scam product! Plus the company won’t help you when the product fails. Just got further review, I never even took this out of it’s case, took it outside, it was always in a comfortable room temperature environment. This has been one of my worst purchases on Amazon.. not only because it failed.. but because the company and Amazon won’t help. Don’t waste your money!

    Great Customer Service!
I like a few that I have saw on here, to had an issue that it quit working with minimal use. For the price of this power bank it should last YEARS. However, mine did not, and I contacted the seller EVEN after my return window closed. All I had to do was send it back to them and they sent me a new one right away! I can’t complain about that! Great customer service & support and I would buy from them again. This is a GREAT power bank when it works so do not be hesitant about that.

I have used this product for “emergency” charging of vapes and phones, emergencies being too lazy to go and find charges! This power bank was handy! Very light, easy to move from room to room. We also had the power go out for a short time and I plugged in a table lamp – nice to be the only house on the block that had normal light! No regrets for purchasing this, when I have more time I will check other devices to power.

It is used to run a fan on a fire place insert in case of a power failure. It will also be used to run a small heat pad for an old dog in the truck or on the runabout when we are fishing. On a test I must question the 42000 Ah rating it looks like its more like 4200 Ah.

I purchased this in August 2021. I used it once in September for an outdoor event. Fast forward 6 months later and while the battery remained fully charged, as I went to use it, the power would not charge. I plugged in the charger and all led lights appear fully charged. Once I remove the charger, all LEDs did not come on. As a result, no power. This is honestly a rip-off. Used once and that was all I got from it. It appears this system is not up to working standards. After reading mostly positive reviews, I was convinced to purchase it. Now, it’s another story. If you are looking for durability and reliability, this power bank may not be for you.

The Powkey 200 Watt is not what we expect. . When I tested it on our 110v electric adjustable bed frame, which was my reason for the purchase as we need to be able to adjust the bed in case of a power outage (which happens a lot in our little mountain town), it doesn’t work as expected. When lowering the bed with power from this power bank, the small 20 watt motor is able to complete the task but it doesn’t move as smooth as when plugged into the wall power outlet. However, when moving the bed towards the more upright position it goes really slow (takes almost 10 times longer than normal) and moves with the same stuttering motion. My choise for the purchase was based on the pure sinus wave that this product is supposed to output, but since the motor doesn’t spin as supposed I’m now doubting if this unit is really outputting such wave. Can it be that the unit I’ve received is faulty? We thinking to return it. Anton

Item gets used once every three weeks for about 20 minutes and only lasted about 14 months. Surface mounted resistors shorted and burned. Unit no longer functions. Signs of charring and burned components on main board. Fortunately the Lithium batteries (18 cells @ 2.6V each, 7.2 Watt/hr) remained unaffected and did not short. Not sure if I would purchase this item again.
