I was so excited to get these lights and use them for my next gig, but upon receiving them, ONE of them didn’t work! ð¤¦ââï¸ Also, the actual light itself seemed distorted, and a bit cheaply made for the price. I do not recommend this product if you’re after SERIOUS lighting results.Might be ok for a private party for family and friends thoð¤·ââï¸

Just unboxed, seems to have a lot of options, it’s bright, spins fast. Bigger than I was expecting as well.Some of the other reviews make me wonder if it’ll last. I recommend snugging all the screws before using alot of them weren’t very tight. If it lasts I will give it 5 stars. Definitely more bang for the buck then average moving head light.

Perfect for glow partys
I bought this earlier in the year in preparation for a glow party in the cove. I set up some rigging on my boat and hung it above the bimini. I got several inquiries and many compliments. I was too far away from the boats with the smoke machines to get that effect. Maybe a smoke machine added next year. 100% recommend for a large outdoor setting.

Very well constructed, but not the brightest, and does not play well with others
Pics 1-3 (which includes a tear-down) show some lubricant leak that occurred from the bearings. Nothing dramatic, but definitely messy and you’ll want to watch out (and wipe it down) before something gets ruined.Construction is basically steel (as opposed to other vendors on Amazon using mostly plastic body and even the LED carrier). This unit has very good heat dissipation and barely even gets warm. Theoretically, according to the circuit board labeling, this device utilizes Cree 3-watt LEDs. 4 positions times 3-watts times 2 moveable sections equals 24-watts. Not the brightest fixture out there, and not great for tall ceilings or even medium venues – but that’s what you get when using these new series of surface mount LEDs (even with fog, but it does help). I’m not a fan of these newer surface mount LEDs – obviously. Decent bearings are used for the moving heads and runs very quiet (again, as opposed to other Amazon vendors). Circuit boards are well laid out and proper use of cable connectors is employed throughout.DMX control follows the printed manual exactly, HOWEVER master/slave is NOT properly supported or observed. I tested this fixture attempting to select master against a competitive vendor’s fixture as slave with the exact same DMX programming profile and results were essentially useless (usually turning off the LEDs on the slave, and the motors keep running). Then, I swapped roles of master/slave and even more useless results. If you use more than one, you will have to use computer control and select to mirror the motors and use your own sequences. You cannot use “auto” mode and have it transmit to another unit to synchronize or mirror the output – send or receive. Perhaps this is an anomaly with a different vendor unit, but I have no way to verify the results with only 1 of each brand.

Using it in a DMX lighting rig and it works great, the beams are very visible with some fog!
