   Totally exceeded my expectations!
   This mic is absolutely adorable (I got it in pink, because duh) and I’m shocked by how good the sound quality is! I wanted something affordable and assumed I’d have to compromise on sound quality, but nope. Admittedly, I’m not an audiophile but I have zero complaints. Despite living by a busy road with constant traffic noise, this mic is so clear I could record ASMR with it.

   Great Mic for Lower Price
   Got this mic after Christmas when it was on sale, and has been AMAZING. The stand is very stable, the mic quality is amazing, and is very easy to hook up to XLR. Can be sensitive at first, but it can be fixed with moving it further away. The mic is very small for how it is, but is it really good. Friends told me that it sounds amazing. It is very light compared to other microphones. Very functional, would buy again.

   Thoughts so far
   I usually don’t write reviews on anything but I do have a list of pros and cons here.Pros:-Sound Quality is clear and soft-Easy to use and setup-Doesn’t pick up background noise or other people (if setup properly)-Boom Arm is lighter than expected-Price for quality is insane. It is a mid range microphone but I would take this over a $100 Yeti any day or any expensive dynamic mic with XLR capabilities. The dynamic mic is a game changer if you’re wanting to pick up sound from a single angle of a room vs the car alarm outside 3 blocks down the road.Cons:-Manual is kind of all over the place between Mac and Windows.-As far as the Boom Arm, it’s stable enough to hold the AM8, BUT, the hinge point and thread does not like to stay locked in place with the thumb screw once you make minor adjustments. Highly recommend setting it where you want it and then tighten as much as possible. It’s still a little loose but not a huge deal to me at least.——In addition, the C-clamp is not long enough on the bottom lip. If your table has a rail within an inch of the border of your desk, DO NOT get this with the boom arm. It becomes unstable as hell since they designed this to have a major overbite.-XLR cable not included (not major)——this is usually included in your sound mixer for XLR microphones so don’t get worked up over it. It tells you what comes in the box.-Might not sound like a problem to some people but there’s no way to tell what knob you’re turning without turning on the lights unless you memorize which one you’re turning. If there was offsetting colors for the knob indicators/arrows/dash marking on knob, it would be easier to read and honestly hope they fix this one day.This microphone is a 4.5/5 for me in terms of quality of sound and price for $80 (depending on discounts too). It’s clear and soft sound makes you sound like you’re in a studio booth. For the boom arm I give it a 3/5. It could use some updates to the c-clamp for desk clearance and overall stability, especially on the mic end to stay in place and not droop down over time.Overall: 4/5

   Gifted to a friend
   I bought this mic set for my buddy. Because I was tired of listening to what sounded like a whale living inside of a washing machine stuffed inside of a dryer where it was then surrounded by brick walls.It was bad. So I bit bullet and got this for them, and it works amazing as far as I can tell from the receiving end. Wow Major difference. I’ve used the 5 fine K658 for many years, and I’m thoroughly impressed with that one as well.

   Small Price, Great Sound, Exceptional Value
   I originally bought this for video streaming and youtube content creation and it surpassed my expectations, however you must be careful with the mount. The screw mount is made of cheap metal and can easily strip. Do not over tighten, do not do full 360s with the microphone turning, always gently adjust and use the tension knobs as intended. Remember less is more here, find your microphone position and keep it that way and maybe make small adjustments if needed.The microphone quality even on USB is extremely good. I get comments all the time on TEAMS, wow your microphone sounds so good. Not bad for a little 50-60 dollar microphone. Sounds incredible for Gaming youtube channel.The hype is real with this one, it sounds like a professional level microphone for literally a third of the cost.

   Amazing sound quality
   Hello, I am a part-time streamer. And I must say the quality of this microphone for the cost is amazing. The durability feels good. I have no idea where they get their windscreens but it’s so soft LOL. I actually will be posting your review of this on YouTube soon as well. This is my daily driver microphone for streaming and everything else that I do. The build quality feels great. There’s no extra software needed to use it. I use it with still series sonar and I have had absolutely zero issues with it.

   Impresses immediately
   Honestly, after having the microphone I had for over a year and deciding it’s time to get a better microphone, I had found this microphone while browsing. I’m not usually a big fan of RGB on a microphone, but I heard good things about the microphone overall and wanted to give it my go. So I did.It was a very nice packed box — was simple and to the point. I was able to pull it out and set it up with ease, and did a mic switch in front of my friends. Immediately they noticed a difference and they could tell the noise cancellation was working better than it did with my previous microphone. If I am able to update this review and if I find any issues, I will definitely do so, otherwise I am immediately impressed and will be looking forward to using the microphone. I have a fan in the background and a server, and it does an awesome job blocking the noise and keeping me heard.The only one thing I did not like was the fact that it had came up as an output device in my computer, but that isn’t a big deal. I also noticed OpenRGB does not have support or there isn’t a way to change the RGB outside of the button on the microphone—just a sidenote.

   Worth it!!
   Believe the hype! I did several days worth of research to try and find a legit budget xlr microphone, and this mic sounds amazing. I was not willing to spend hundreds since I only talk to friends in discord, but this mic definitely has great recording capabilites.

    This is exceptional quality for the price you pay. I was initially going for a Rode, but I thought, let’s save money! Most people ignore the fact that these days you can get to 90% of the audio quality of a Rode mic in post-production. You click one button (“enhanced audio”) on a software like CapCut, and you can achieve the sound quality of a $200 mic with a $20 mic. I still din’t want to gor for a $20-30 option though. So got this instead.Takeaway:- Extremely sturdy (especially with the stand).- LOVE the LED lights. I was scared when I ordered, because I like minimalistic & “less is more” design. But the LED light is classy and understated. Looks beautiful at night. So yeah, they’re not the disco lights I was fearing.- Excellent at background noise control.- Ideal for podcasting, providing that radio-like sound.- Better than most $150-200 options.For now, I have nothing negative to say, but I will update if I encounter any issues. I’m really happy I didn’t run after the “known brands” and went ahead with this product. Probably saved $100.
