Nice cheapish dual exhaust
for the price, this is a decent exhaust that won’t piss off the Nabors too much. it’s not as loud as I thought it was going to be how it makes up for it in the tone. just loud enough to know the truck is running from in the house but not obnoxiously loud. install wasn’t too bad as long as you know what you looking at, instructions could have been better. there are however a few videos online that explain how to install it. after about 3-4 weeks of being installed there is surface rust on the pipe (I’m in MN), the tips and muffler still look new.

09 Silverado – Great exhaust – One hanger welded in wrong spot
Installed this on a 2009 Silverado 5.3 CC short bed LTZ. Was looking for an exhaust and found this system for under $300 – great deal, couldn’t pass it up. Not a huge fan of the black tips, but not a big deal – those can be changed. Got it, packed well an all parts accounted for. Removed my old exhaust and went to put this one one. The mid-pipe that connects to your stock system has a hanger welded to it that, no matter how I tried, did not line up with anything. I even toyed with the extra pipe they give you for the long bed models. I started the install from the tail pipes moving forward just to figure out what I needed to do with the mid pipe. All I ended up having to do was cut the hanger off of the mid pipe and weld it back on about 6″ farther back. Other than that, no issues with this kit. Install was smooth, all welds are nice, muffler looks to be well made, even comes with the nice stainless band clamp style connectors rather than u-bolt style. So far no leaks and it sounds great! Nice rumble and loud when you get on it, no drone and very quiet at cruising speeds. Very impressed with this exhaust and would do it again! I will probably replace the tips with some polished stainless ones in the future.

Pretty bad measurements to say the least.
The system looks good but I haven’t been able to hear it yet due to missing parts, damaged parts, incorrect measurements ect, the hangers don’t lineup, some of the parts that were supposed to have hangers did not, lomg tube shows to be slotted in the diagram but not actually slotted and the overall length of the system was way too long.. I’ll updated on the sound once I fab everything up and get it installed

Great for what I wanted (UPDATE)
UPDATEHereâs my update after 5 months. My original review is below. I still love the sound. In fact, it sounds even better now than it did even a month ago. But you can tell the materials used, like the steel, is definitely not the highest quality. It just looks bad. Already looks rusty after not even being driven through a whole winter in Ohio. So Iâm nervous on what this exhaust will look like a year from now. As for the black tips, I love them, but the area that faces the rear tires are all chipping. Not sure if mud flaps wouldâve helped prevent that or not. But I can see all the black coming off of them within a few months. So not the best or the worst. And for $300 Iâd probably buy it again.Original ReviewBefore I purchased this, I was running a Borla Pro XS muffler on stock exhaust. But I wanted an entire dual catback exhaust. Found this for under $400, and since itâs clamp on, if I didnât like the tone, I could just switch out the muffler but keep the rest of the system on. But I yet have had to do that yet because Iâm enjoying the time of it. I wanted something louder than stock, but not something that would wake up the neighborhood at 6am going to work. Has a great tone, especially when you open up the throttle. And after a few months of breaking in, itâs even a tad bit meaner sounding. Also love the black tips as well. Oh, and no annoying drone at highway speeds! Highly recommend. Like I said, if you want something louder, just buy another muffler to replace the RC one and switch them out.

Great Product
Overall, this is a great cat-back kit. The instructions could be a bit better, as could the packing. The sound is great and not obnoxiously loud, and the quality of the materials is great! I would definitely buy this product again.

Good product. Just not loud enough.
It is a good product easy install. But if your looking for a loud exhaust this isn’t it. I think it get even quieter as you rev it up.
