A good board for commercial projects, OEMs
Great for any application that requires a standardized footprint for quantity production. The manufacturer has committed to keeping this line of motherboards stable for a minimum of twelve months, with all updates conforming to the same general layout so products based on it will not require frequent hardware modifications.

    Wow! What a mistake.
My 1st venture into AMD land and it was a complete disaster. I had been saving and returning just to get a good processor and that i did (Ryzen 5 5600), but i failed miserably with the motherboard. I should have known when i opened the box and there were 0, that’s ZERO motherboard screws and Zero Sata Cables. I thought maybe because AMD is a bit more advanced that was normal, but i quick look on YouTube and my fears were reality. I did have brand new extras so i used those. I can see why they don’t give out screws, there were so many screw holes to connect the motherboard, so i guess that’s a way of saving some money. So before i start to ramble on (to late). Ill get down to the fact that i called the 24 hour customer service to get some help, but must have been the 25th hour because they were closed. Oh, for the reason i called? The Motherboard ( ASUS Pro A520M-C II/CSM ) had No Display! Power was on, fans working, so i gave it some time. Then i did the reset on the CMOS, then clear the Battery and wait for it…then jump start the CMOS pins? Seriously. Stick a screwdriver in between the pins and that should almost definitely work…Well, it did not. After hours and hours of trying everything on the ASUS site and every weird idea on YouTube, I called Amazon, they told me to do the ever so often return. So i get to wait a few weeks for My $200End of Rant

    High failure rate
This review is for two motherboards. The first purchased on the first of November. Received it on the 5th. Installed the motherboard, memory & AMD Ryzen 7 3700X CPU with the factory provided cooler. The system failed on the 7th of December, 32 days after the install. After extensive troubleshooting it was determined that the motherboard was the issue. I contacted Amazon support on the 8th of December and they quickly provided an exact replacement motherboard. Kudos to Amazon support! I received the replacement motherboard on the 13th and installed it after transferring the CPU, Memory & the Samsung M.2 1TB NVMe SSD. The replacement motherboard failed today, the 19th, in the middle of a system backup. This motherboard lasted 37 days. Troubleshooting the system included replacing the power supply & graphics card after disconnecting all non essential components.I keep the system plugged into a UPS to mitigate any power issues so any surges are not a problem. As a retired Computer Systems Engineer, I make sure to follow all anti-static protocols. I am now replacing the ASUS motherboard with a Gigabyte unit. I will see how this goes.

Weird SATA transfer issue that was isolated to the motherboard after replacing ssd, cpu, memory and mobo. Returned.

Installed a Ryzen 5 3600 with DDR4 3200 and 5700 XT. The Nvme performance is great.Every thing works as intended.Recommend.It has no LED control and just one Case fan socket which you can deal with it as a budget friendly product. Having old school ports can help students and schools to do their tasks on this board.

I opted for this board instead of a B450 that I have, because I wanted .my 3 monitors using digital output. This board has four outputs: DVI, HDMI, DisplayPort… and VGA.Unfortunately, when reading the manual, it states that the DisplayPort and DVI port don’t work together. It’s one or the other. Connect both, and the DVI takes over. Yes, I tested. Unfortunate. That information doesn’t seem to be present on this ad. On ASUS’ web site, it is under the pane with the detailed specs, a little off the beaten path.As it works fine otherwise, I decided to keep it.Everything else is in order… a simple, but study board, with all kinds of headers for old a new peripherals. It’s clearly targeted at the corporate market. Pairs well with a Ryzen G-series..It also support XMP, which came in handy, as I am using 3600Mhz RAM – also pairs well with a Ryzen G series.Remember to update your BIOS: the one that came with it wasn’t very stable after boosting the RAM. A bios updated fixed that.
