High quality motherboard
Wow, this motherboard is beefy. Feels very high quality. Booted right up with my 9800x3d. No issues whatsoever with changing PBO bios settings and having it boot. Canât say the same for other motherboards I have used. Highly recommended.

Build quality is phenomenal
Looks way better out of the box than the last three msi boards I’ve used. Came with cool case stickers too. The antenna makes it interweb a lil too fast for my router as it has been overheating since the day I connected this pc to it. Boot time is average. The asus armory crate made updating drivers easy.

Not a bad mobo for the money – does the job.
There’s not a lot of reviews of this particular product. If you want fast RAM, I would definitely do your research and find QVL listed RAM for this product first – DDR5 RAM is extremely picky. Anytime I tried to adjust the RAM beyond the 3600 GHz default, I got a yellow LED which meant I had to power off, touch a screwdriver to the CMOS Reset jumper, and start over. But, some research tells me that 4 DIMMS to go very fast with DDR5 is very tricky for many mobos, so I just lived with it. Another point: I don’t think this can motherboard can support more than 5 NVMEs. If I populated the first slot with a 4xNVME card and 2 of the dedicated M2 slots (not #2, not #4), one of the NVME’s would always disappear from the 4x card. Five, it can handle, but to that, I had to put my oversized GPU in the second slot, and that meant sacrificing the front USB/sound headers because they prevent any 2 or 2.5 slot GPU from seating correctly.Other than that, 4 DIMMS of 48GB RAM and 9900X is stable and everything seems to work perfectly fine out of the box. It’s not going to be able to divvy the lanes like a higher end motherboard, but for basic stuff, it’s fine, the single 2.5 GB Ethernet is fine, the Wifi 7 is quite capable, and Win 11 had little problem updating itself once I installed the LAN adapter driver and chipset drivers.

Over all good board from ASUS as always!

Works as advertised.
The board detected my 9800x3d out of the box and updating the bios was not difficult at all. System is running stable and very happy with the x870 tuf mobo.

DOA – Would not boot
Seems like it’s DOA or something. Would not boot. Tried a couple different brands/sticks of ram that were rated for the board. No error code display means you won’t be able to figure out what it’s hung up on. Had I realized it didn’t have one, I would have never ordered this – but that’s my own fault. You only get a light for if your RAM has an issue.Just spun up my fans to 100% and parked there with the 9800x3d. I did update the Bios with Qflash but to no success. Tried with peripherals plugged in and not, HDDs in and not, GPU in and not. Nothing worked and half an afternoon was wasted with assembly and disassembly.Switched to a Gigabyte X870E (I didn’t want to but literally nothing else reasonably priced is in stock) and it booted up with zero issues on the first try.

Buen producto
Me ha gustado el diseño en persona, aunque al principio no estaba muy convencido ya que es la primera vez que elijo usar esta lÃnea TUF de Asus, estaré probando estos dÃas a ver que tal, aunque de momento me gusta.

Reliable Asus
still a bit peeve that it doesn’t have full Q code but work great no complaints

Ok got this board in a sealed box so obviously new. very happy about that. So I did a swap over from a MSI 650 Edge (7800x3d) and it booted to a previous install which wasn’t good (driver issues)So clean install solved EVERYTHINGSo heads up use a clean ssd and fresh install win 11 (Download an iso from MIcrosoft). My board booted to setup and downloaded ALL the correct drivers using ethernet NO PROBLEM.The transfer rates are insanely fast if you populate the other M.2 slots with ssd. I installed a pcie 4 ssd into slot 2 so it wouldn’t steal lanes from my pcie gpu and it works just fine.So the front port output from this board are SUPERCHARGED (When you connect your case port cables to the board)I plugged my phone into my case USB C port and it went into SUPER FAST CHARGING. Love itVery very happy with this purchase.I love the easy latch and screw caps on the SSD cover as well as the quick connect ssd locks. Great stuff that makes a build soooooo easy.I usually always go ethernet at home but I tried the wifi and it’s just as fast as cable. Very happy camper here so far.I’ve been using MSI for a few years now but the last batch of their boards are absolute GARBAGE.Asus is my choice from now on
