   Amazing value and power
   If you want a chainsaw that will start every time without hassle, this is the perfect choice. It is a professional grade saw so it must be treated with care but with a low kickback chain it is very easy to use. For the seasoned professional it is a perfect saw for any job. I have felled large trees and done small brush work with it. Reasonable weight compared to power and the handle is shaped well. Great value for the price.
   Two notes for those considering this saw.
   1. The gas and oil caps are small so they must be filled carefully
   2. If you want the absolute best performance, lean out the carburetor a bit. I tuned my high speed screw an 1/8 of a turn and had a lot more power

   Great small saw
   Used it for a few hours, very light weight but great cutting saw. Highly recommend it for anything less than heavy commercial use.

   Love this saw
   I have used Echo for all my personal saws, I love Stihl but not the price tag. This 355 runs just as good as the 200t I use at work. I am a big fan of this saw, it is easy to start aloft, and is of great quality.

   Awesome saw!
   Took down three 60 ft trees no problem. This saw is amazing! Super light. Powerful. Almost went for the Stihl 200 series for twice the price, glad I didn’t. I was in a lift 45 feet in the air for 2 days and this started up with two finger gentle pull every time.cold starts are no problem. It just works. Good on gas. It’s perfect. It’s twice as useful as my polan 18″ at $200 is and weighs nothing. Be careful though, my dad got too confident cutting stuff on the ground while one handing it and cut his finger and had 9 stitches. It’s very easy to get comfortable with and make mistakes swinging it around like a lightsaber. limbs just disappear at a glance. 5/5 would buy again!

   Best in its class and as good as or better than higher price saws
   Delivered today and used it today. I went with the 14 inch bar and it did everything I needed it to do.
   The pro’s:
   Plenty of power and excellent balance.
   I really like the choke switch incorporated with the stop switch and starting this saw is very easy once you get the carb adjusted for where you live. The multiple size grip features on the handle are excellent and makes gripping the saw solid. The clutch driven oiler is great and adjusts nicely. The oil only comes out when the chain is spinning. The chain brake hand guard is solid and the plastic the saws casing is thick and seems very durable. The throttle response is unbelievably good. Well balanced and cuts clean. Cuts even better once you make the chain more aggresive when you sharpen it.
   The cons:
   The lanyard ring broke the first time I opened it and is now stuck open. This saw is a bit loud compared to other top handles in its class. The top handle feels great but is too wide to fit into the hook on my saddle without major struggle and getting it out of the hook is near impossible when in the tree. That said with a biner and chainsaw lanyard that issue can be fixed. The saw performs so good especially for the price none of the cons would matter and I would rate this saw at 5 stars EXCEPT for… (And this is absolutely a horrible design feature) the stupid gas and oil filling ports are way too small!!! Every single time you have to put fuel or bar oil in it you will spill it all over the place. You will either miss or over fill it. I use a small funnel but still over fill 1 out of 3 times because you cant see the fluid level until its topped out. This 1 feature by itself almost made this a 3 star rating. I honestly do love this saw though and highly suggest you buy it over any other saw in its price range and would buy it again if it was the same price as the stihl or husky saws.
   All in all this is a great saw for use in the tree and for the price the best in its class. There are youtube videos showing this saw going against other top handles twice the price and as far as cutting I cant see a difference. Plus its an echo and every echo product I have has been way, way more reliable than any of the other brands I own including stihl and husqvarna.

   Absolutely hands down best climbing saw!!!
   At first you think echo it’s Chinese no!!!! It’s Japanese and the Japanese make some of the most powerful 2 strokes on the planet. Look at the cr500, kx500 and all the motocross bikes are Japanese with the exception of KTM. Japan has 2 stroke performance dialed. If you buy this saw to run it in stock form it’s pretty good. But I build these saws for people and with custom porting and a custom exhaust they will absolutely destroy an stihl top handle. I’ve been running mine daily all year and everyone is blow away at how amazingly powerful this saw is. I run everything from a 14” bar to 18” bar and drop huge tops. Sometimes I buck with it too. I clear brush with it and it’s full throttle all the time. The echo 355t is the best climbing saw ever made
