Exactly what I hoped
Iâm no chainsaw expert. Iâve use one a few times but this is the first Iâve ever owned. Like many I researched, watched reviews, tried to educate myself. What I did NOT want was a hard starting saw and the two BIG brands seemed to be 50/50 on reviews for starting. Echo appeared to be the winner. Today I got out to cut some old falls in the yard. The 4510 started perfectly by following the exact directions.The power of 45cc and the 18â bar seems like the sweet spot for me. I was cutting some pretty large oak and hedgewood and it cut through them with ease.The saw couldnât have been tuned any better. After starting I let the saw warm up at idle for 5-10 mins. It was the first time itâs ever run so giving it a minute or two extra was worth it. Throttle response was perfect and she ran beautifully.Value, reliability, and first impression couldnât be happier. Recommend this product highly.

bad saw
Will not start! Ans when you try to return it, you can’t. You have to take it to a service dealer. A brand-new saw and I have to take it to get fixed. Buy from Home Depot and you will not have this problem. It is not worth the $20 savings.

Rough start but good purchase
This was a real challenge to start up the first time so be prepared to read the instructions completely before trying to get it going. Get the oil it needs and prep it correctly. It will flood the first time most likely. I found that taking the spark plug out and drying it off, letting it cool and dry out then giving it another try was good.Basically with patience and a few floodings we got it going! Once it fired up it ran great and consistently. It is easy to open and clean. So it is a good tool once it gets going the first time.
