    My new favorite cycling shoe
My Giro Cylinder shoes finally kicked it after years of trusty service. I replaced them with the Sector in the same size.Boa adjustment x 2 gives a quick, easy, snug fit. Where the Cylinder had reinforced nylon soles, this has carbon composite soles so they have a nice degree of stiffness. The arch has a layer of rubber padding which I really like for riding while clipped out. Most importantly, they fit right out of the box and needed no break-in whatsoever.

    Fantastic design, fit, and finish.
A very well designed shoe that provides great function and fit. This version of the BOA closure on the upper and lower portion of the shoe make for a very secure and custom fit. Would definitely buy again.

    Worst mbt shoes ever
My husband is a pro single speed racer (both mbt & gravel… not so pro ciclocross, but does those as well… but it won’t be in these shoes). I’ll give that he puts in a lot of miles every season, but when your new shoes look 20 years old after your 2nd race, and by the 4th, you need to start getting out the duct tape for shoes that cost a couple hundred dollars on sale, something didn’t get made with endurance in mind. We had them less than 2 weeks before they were falling apart! He has shoes that have lasted several seasons without issue. They’re breaking down as expected with wear and tear. Between a vigorous race schedule and work, we missed the window to return, so they’ll just go in the trash, but it felt like taking a minute to write a review was pretty much necessary for anyone thinking about grabbing these who’s more than just a casual rider. We didn’t have them yet for Unbound, and they didn’t live to The Rexy (had i read that last sentence in the review section, it would’ve saved me a lot of headache. There’s a reason you don’t see Giro represented at these races. Save yourself the time and money and go with the more pricey, but significantly more reliable options)! To be fair, they are light as advertised, and they may be good for anyone who is just getting into gravel biking (tho I would still go with a pass on mbt given the terrain and potential for damage done by the trail itself. They simply aren’t as durable as advertised). My husband loved how comfortable they were in the first race after they came in, but by the 3rd race the issues were far bigger than tearing where one might have assumed a weak spot would exist on the material. The metal and other more “durable” areas were where the most issues have been, which sadly, makes them as useless as your favorite comfortable sneakers that start to get holes in the sole 20 years after you started making them your go to (which greatly hinders that while slip resistant part btw)!

    Great fit and look
Great fit, comfortable and stiff pedaling.I went up a half size 11.5 to 12.

    Nice shoes, but very narrow
Nice shoes, well built, look really nice—but they are super narrow. My feet are pretty average in width, have always worn standard width shoes with no problem. These were so narrow that even with the laces loosened up so that I could fit in them, the uppers pulled in a way that created a painful hotspot on my left foot within 1 minute (felt like a burning hot needle being shoved into my foot) while casually standing around. Unless your feet are clearly on the skinny side, I wouldn’t recommend these.

    Fits perfect
I wasn’t sure about these shoes at first because you can make them as tight as you want to the point they hurt your feet. It took some time to get used to the right tension so my feet don’t move in the shoe with it being comfortable. Now I absolutely love them.

    So far so good
These fit great and are super comfortable. I’ve only worn them on a few rides before the weather got bad for the winter. I️ bought them for a two week bike tour that a friend of mine and I are planning. I think they will fit the bill; they are good for cycling and I can still walk like a normal person in these bike shoes.

    Front BOA Hurts
These shoes fit relatively well. However, I had to return them as the front BOA adjuster dug into the top of my foot while wearing them. After trying them on, the BOA adjusters were extremely easy to use with rubber around the top of each adapter which gave a lot of grip and felt good in my fingers. The overall fit of the shoe was really nice, but a bit tight at the width of my foot. Design and look are top-notch; I would’ve really enjoyed these had they fit properly on my foot.

If ever there was an example of good footwear contributing to performance, then this is it.I train on strict data, and the numbers indicate that wearing these shoes results in both more power delivered but also with less effort. That’s unusual.I have subsequently retired all my other alternatives.

Buenas zapas de mtb. Muy ligeras, comodas y buen ajuste
