Solid well built
This saw seems well built and runs well. I did have to replace the chain oiler. The company was very helpful with that.

Holzfforma G466 is a Beast
Purchased the Holzfforma G466 with a Holzfforma 28″ bar and chain in September 2024… Cut down a large red oak with a 30″ diameter trunk… Sawed the trunk into 20″ sections then ripped the logs into quarter sections… The G466 has so much power that the entire tree was cut using 1/2 throttle… There are no gas leaks or oil leaks on my G466… Give the starter rope two long, slow pulls to prime the engine… depress the decompression valve… then pull hard to start… Eat your “Wheaties” and “Spinach” before you use this chainsaw because this beast is made for big boys and girls…

Fourth saw same issue no matter where I buy one from eBay or Amazon.. the same thing keeps happening.. can I just get a saw that functions as it’s intended.

Admittedly, I didn’t purchase this saw from Amazon but I have purchased all my replacement and upgrade parts from Amazon. My experience with the saw:
A) within 4 tanks, I had to replace the chain adjustment mechanism and the chain adjustment plate. Bought both from Amazon – they were easy to replace.
B) I bought my 20″ bar and chain (a named brand) from Amazon and they’re awesome
C) Have converted the saw from 25:1 to 50:1 with no problem… just had to fatten up the H and L adjustments (turned screws about half a turn counterclockwise)… Used a small engine tachometer from Amazon to ensure idle is about 2700 rpm and high run about 12,500 rpm.
Otherwise the saw has been one of my favorite!
