It works!!!
I bought another motherboard on a different platform and it was DOA. The seller moved away so I was out of luck. I bought this from Amazon knowing they stick behind their products. It was easy to install, but loading Windows 11 proved to be a problem. After a few days of researching, I finally figured out how to upgrade my Window 10, 32 bit computer to Windows 11. Now I am happy with the motherboard combo which includes an AMD Ryzen CPU.

The board is not XMP ready and does not work well with low latency ram
So I bought this board because it said it was XMP ready for low latency. I bought Corsair ddr5 at vengeance with a 6400 MHz. Now when you initially load it up had to load it up at half. The latency you try to enable XMP it crashes the board. It’s unstable and regardless if you put it on or not, it’s still unstable. Every time I restart my computer it goes through this whole process of it. It can’t seem to read my ram gigabyte isn’t helpful at all. They just ask stupid questions which you could already know the answers to do if you looked up on the forums which most people do when they have issues like this. It was just a waste of my time. The board is they then give me a whole list of what isn’t XMP available on this board which isn’t displayed in anything that they advertise. Just a very power board. The core is perfect. The bundle’s nice but the board board is just bad

Onboard HDMI doesn’t work
The description should probably bold and underline “discrete graphics card required”. The onboard HDMI port is pretty useless. It only works with certain CPUs (APUs) that have graphics built in, otherwise you’re going to need a separate video card in one of the two available PCIe ports. The Ryzen 5 4500 bundled with this is NOT one of those that includes graphics. Without a graphics card installed, and attempting to use the onboard HDMI, you’ll only hear one long beep and three short beeps on POST.

Great desktop upgrade
This is a very good motherboard and CPU combo. Installation was easy. I used my old SSD with windows 10 already installed. Because I had upgraded to Windows 10 from Windows 7, I had to buy another Windows 10 key. When I checked Windows 11 compatibility, it told me that I needed to have secure boot turned on. I had to run MBR2GPT to convert how windows boots before I could disable CSM in the Bios. Google this if you run into this problem. My computer is now ready for Windows 11. This combo with 16 gigabytes memory now boots up in about ten seconds. I don’t game. This is a very fast office desktop now.

Works well so far, BUT…
The screw for the heatsink on the motherboard for the gen 5 M.2 drive was stuck. I don’t know if it was cross threaded at the factory, or way or overtightened. Either way, it was stuck. As a retired mechanic, I know when something is wrong. I was able un unscrew the standoff from under the MOBO and pop it out and use it. No issues yet. Gigabyte customer support was USELESS. They wanted to charge me for the heatsink and screw and told me the standoff is soldered in and unable to be removed, when it was screwed in and was easily removed. They don’t even know their own product. I’ve decided that if the MOBO does fail, and it’s still under warranty, I will NOT be buying a Gigabyte product.
