Great retro gaming console n well worth my easily earned money
Ignore the negative comments. Yes alot of not most of the retro game machines are scams and crap. However this one is exactly what I expected and wanted in a retro gaming console. In fact I purchased the original and the pro for back up bc I live it so much. Few games don’t work on first attempt to boot them up. However that can easily be fixed by doing research i.e YouTube. Solution is to switch the emulator in the menu so that u can play the game. There ROMs n some ROMs just play better on certain emulators n this machine has hundreds. So in short as I long time gamer n old Scholl gamer at that. This console personally is the greatest console I ever owned n cherish it. Great value. Yes the controller is kinda weak but just buy a usb controller online. Like the hardcandy Xbox 360 one. Works great for me. That’s all.

Great deal for the amount of games you get.
Great product. Easy to use. Only gripe is not every game loads correctly. I ran into several issues where the screen freezes. Never able to get into those specific games. It has happened 3-4 times so far. However many work flawlessly.
Bang for the buck, you get a good amount of games for the money. I am still very pleased with the purchase. Love the old school games and when they play, they play flawlessly.
The unit itself is tiny. So it takes up no room. Fires up and you are playing in minutes.
I would recommend. Lots of interesting games. Already spent a few hours playing and there are so many more it will take months to try even a small portion of what is included.

Technology has come so far!
I spent hours reviewing and comparing different retro gaming systems and when comparing cost the super console x was the best deal.
The controllers do feel cheap but work just fine for me and I read reviews that the Xbox wireless controller will work with the system though I have not tested this yet.
The minute I got it I fired it up and was surprised how quickly it turned on! Within seconds I was at a main title screen which scrolled over 25 game systems and anywhere from 10-1500 games per console. There was no setup required just plug and play. With that said some games did not work with the included controller until you went into setting to re-assign the bottoms for the selected console you selected.
To get to main menus press select and start together. This took me some time to figure out.
Donât be out off by the negative reviews unless you are very picky. I am tech savvy but did not want to go through the hassle of buying a Raspberry Pi and setting it up to play retro games. The console itself has only a power button. I experienced no problems with frame rates and even Nintendo 64 titles like Mario 64 played well. This is not a paid review and I paid full price for the system. I initially bought this as a gift and just had to test it out. The person I bought it for is NOT tech savvy and I wanted to be sure he would have no issues. The super console x gets my stamp of approval and I will more than likely be buying a second one for my household!

It does not work
It doesnât work at all I plugged it in to my Roku TV and it turned on and then it froze and the remotes donât work the zero on the remote turn the TV off tap buttons donât work. Then I plugged it into my Samsung smart TV and it says itâs not compatible then I plugged it into my Visio and it says itâs not supported do not buy this

Loads of duplicate games, cheap controllers, but overall good retro game console.
I purchased the SX-128GB. After going through so many Amazon listings and reading reviews for retro gaming sticks and consoles it just seemed like less than 50/50 chance of actually getting what was advertised. Between the negative reviews and listings that had obviously changed the item listed but kept the old reviews, it was really discouraging.
Anyway, this console advertises 95K games but take into consideration all the duplicates and ones that don’t work, there’s probably less than 10K. Of those, there’s a load that no one has ever heard of and ones that are older than dirt. But….there are still plenty of recognizable ones like Galaga, Mario Cart, Donkey Kong, Pac Man, Tekken, Crash Bandicoot and so many more. Advertised 4K means the console works with a 4K tv, not that the games are 4K.
The navigation menu isn’t great. Choosing the platform is easy enough but you have to scroll through the entire alphabetized game menu before getting to the one you want. Holding the button down does go fast but you could still scroll past several thousand before getting to the one you want. It says you can add a game to favorites but that’s yet to be accomplished as the button doesn’t do anything.
The controllers are cheap and not completely reliable. Sometimes they lag or just don’t respond fast enough, eg. I played Crash Bandicoot and walked right into a hole because he didn’t stop when I took my finger off the button. One controller the A and Y buttons were programmed backwards. They are generic and communicate with a usb so could probably just be replaced with better ones.
If you’re like me and dubious about getting what’s advertised with the retro sticks then I’d recommend this console. Even with the negatives, I’m still happy with the overall playability and game selections. I purchased on a Cyber Monday deal but for the current $75 price it’s still a pretty decent retro game console.
