    Good product
    I’ve bought several shofarot on my trips to Israel. But given them away. I really wanted one for the upcoming feasts. I feel the quality is good and the polish is excellent, and very easy to blow. Good sound!
    Very pleased. Packaged well. Shofar was not damaged in any way.
    Yes shofar smell. That’s just part of it! The oil helps a bit but a shofar is going to smell! It should! For those who need to know.
    I will order again if I can’t make it to Israel soon!

    Love this Shofar!
    Well crafted and it was relatively easy to learn how to successfully blow to get a powerful sound. But like any shofar, it takes practice. I leave it on my dresser in plain sight, to remind me to grab it here and there throughout the day and practice blowing. In the beginning my shofar blowing felt like a whining animal… but with practicing for a few minutes multiple times each day, I can now get a strong sound for up to 15 seconds… and trying for longer.
    There is a power in the Shofar. It is the sound of victory in our daily battle.

    Great quality product!
    (26-28 in.) Traditional, half-polished. This was my first purchase w/HV. The size of this horn came exactly as advertised, the color is okay, a naturally dark grey-brownish color it’s nice, although I expected it to be similar to the advertised colored horn, which is lighter in pigment, but its still great. I plan to paint my shofar with some blue/gold highlights to brighten it up. The Horn sounds wonderful and is easy to use-thanks to the instruction(s) that came with and the video you provided online-Thanks! I use it to announce the beginning and ending of my prayer time with the Lord Jesus, Christ! I’m also not Jewish, but love the Jews for giving me my most Precious and Prized gift: My Savior and Lord: Jesus, Christ!!! The Messiah!!! I am a black American woman! God bless you, shalom in Christ!

    Beautiful Shofar
    I’m new to blowing a shofar and learned that this size is much easier than the smaller ram’s horn. While I can get some sound from a smaller horn, this one is by far easier to learn! The horn is beautiful and the mouth area is even beveled out a bit which makes this an easy horn to learn on. While I’d love to support my local Judaica shop, and I will with a larger horn or other items, this is an amazing price for my first shofar!

    Does not come with anything pictured
    It is absolutely beautiful! I wanted to give 5 stars but
    it did not come with the cleaner, the “how to” book or the brush , it was not in a fabric bag as pictured. So if you want any of that you will have to buy it separately. The plastic bag it came in was all chewed up like a dog had been chewing on it and there was dirt, strings and fuzz stuck in the glue, it looked like someone attempted to stick it back together but just wadded it up .
    I realize it says its only the “mouthpiece “ but not where its obvious. By the pictures and the description it seemed like it all came together in a nice bag. It kind of feels deceiving. It is suppose to be a gift but looks like it was a return and someones dog played with it before being boxed up, i am glad i opened it up before gifting it so i could make it look decent.
    There is also no tag on it or information at all just a nasty chewed up dirty plastic bag. 🙁

    AWESOME!!!!!
    I love this Shofar. It’s truly authentic because it does smell. The smell doesn’t bother me , however I did use the spray to see if it works and it does. The sound is perfect, and it’s not hard to use. The length is perfect too!!!! I would highly recommend this to everyone.

    I was afraid to order after reading some of the reviews but all is well. This is a beautiful shofar and my Husband loves It. Learning to play may take a while but we are very pleased with our purchased, also there was no bad smell what so ever.
