Super easy install, great quality.
I give the exhaust system 5 stars for quality and ease of installation. I like the sound of the exhaust, yes here is the BUT.. the MBRP S522448409 exhaust is loud in the cab, don’t buy it if you are looking for something with just a mellow tone this is not it (unless you are idling). Background: I installed the MBRP S522448409 exhaust on a 2014 F150 XLT EcoBoost with a topper and air lift suspension. The XLT doesn’t have the sound deadening material like the King Ranches and upper end trucks so that may be the reason for the cab noise. The exhaust is loud in the cab on acceleration quiets down on the road, unless you happen to be pulling a trailer then you are going to hear the exhaust in the cab (and that’s right I pull a trailer everyday). The installation is super easy, the instructions state you may have to cut the old system off if you are not using a lift. You really don’t need to cut the old system and I don’t recommend cutting the system. I removed the spare tire and heat shield so I could maneuver the old system out, I also have air bags on the truck so there was an additional obstacle to go around. I removed the exhaust in one piece just unbolting in from the flange at the cat and then slide it out (with a little maneuvering) Just a note I am a 52 year old woman 🙂 The install of the new system was a breeze remember to remove the rear hanger I don’t remember if it states that in the installation manual but there is a great video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RoVk9kB9spoin the video in states the rear tail section will interfere with the spare tire I found it just didn’t have enough room for the rod on the tailpiece to slide on the bushing simple just remove the hanger from the truck install it on the tail piece then bolt it back on. I have not seen any improvement in gas mileage but I drive with a very heavy foot and I was not looking for gas mileage. I was looking for HP improvement I believe I got that the truck had a good acceleration from 0-70 but now in does it with ease LOUDLY but with ease. I am very happy with the improved performance next upgrade is cold air intake. Thanks for reading I will be glad to answer any questions.

The tone is great. NO CABIN DRONE
The tone is great. NO CABIN DRONE. The first couple weeks the exhaust was a little louder than I expected but it has quieted down now that it sooted up a bit. I did end up removing the spacers from inside the clamps, I couldn’t get the last clamp tight enough to support the last section with the spacer in it. — Also, the last piece that goes over the axle, I threaded the end of the hanger and put a fender washer and lock nut on it. I also removed 1.5″ from the last exhaust section that connects to the muffler portion as I feel like it was too far back and the bracket was barely in the hanger. The fit is much better with the 1.5″ cut off and the nut and washer combo give me piece of mind. Other than that, great product.

Way too loud.
Fit and finish of this system is great, it was an easy install. It however was way too loud. It doesn’t have a nice sound at all. Just sounds like an obnoxious fart cannon. My wife wouldn’t even ride in my truck anymore. I removed it and its sitting on a shelf.

Too loud! This was simple to install and had quality parts but is just too loud for my taste. I’ve had it on for a couple weeks and am already looking at either a replacement muffler or adding a resonator to this system. The drone from 1500 – 2500 rpm is too much for me. If I had it to do over again I would go with the 3″ as the ecoboost has 3″ piping from the stock down pipes. That might quiet it down enough, not sure. If loud is what your looking for it is a quality product though.

Cab drone is really bad as well
Had this exhaust for a little less than a year and it’s already rusting out. Cab drone is really bad as well.

5 for workmanship and materials, ease of installation. 3 for quality of the sound. Loud but doesn’t roar quite right. For the price it can’t be beat…

The instructions were made simple and was a perfect fit no modifications needed and it sounds great
I purchased this product and installed myself. It was not difficult with the use of a lift. The instructions were made simple and was a perfect fit no modifications needed and it sounds great! My rpm’s drop between 50 to 75 at 55 mph and performance is better. Not sure if fuel mileage is better, I found myself pressing harder on the accelerator.

Would recommend for anyone that wants to hear the motor and …
If you are looking for a stock sounding exhaust this is not it. It is a high quality stainless exhaust that has an aggressive sound but is not over powering. When on the throttle is becomes louder and you can hear the turbos spooling but when cruising it sounds almost as quiet as stock. Would recommend for anyone that wants to hear the motor and its unique sound but doesn’t expect it to be silent.

i found it for $475 on Amazon for my 2013 f150 EcoBoost 3.5L so i could not pass on the deal. It showed up quickly and was installed even quicker. My muffler had rusted out so after I cut the bolts off (cause they were rusted so bad) the install was a breeze. I reccomend a second person to help you do the job, the parts are not light.Just a tip….On the back hanger, I had remove the bracket and install the hanger to it. Then reinstall it to the body of the truck. Otherwise you have to remove the spare and the heat shield. It took my dad and I 2 hours to remove and install.Quality is amazing and the sound is wild on this thing. I dont know if there is an honest difference in power or economy on gas but I dont really care either. Hope this helps someone out.
