Daughter loves it!
This set is great! Purchased for our daughterâs birthday. I originally was going to get a different set, but my order was canceled due to out of stock, so I decided one this one instead.Our daughter loves when we listen to rock music and has taken an interest in drums, so we really like that she can grow with this. Plus my husband and I will have fun playing the drums with her.The directions are not completely clear and can be more difficult when you have a toddler trying to help you install and pieces are missing, lol.The color we purchased was silver and it looks good. We are happy with the price option that was for this color compared to the others that were $50 or more.Everything was packaged well and looks great once all put together. Stool is comfortable and easy to adjust.Everything seems very durable and can handle our toddler playing with it.

Great starter
First off – you need to temper your expectations with this kit. Keep the price in mind and be comfortable with the idea that this is going to be a whacking set. I got this for my youngestâs 5th birthday after he showed interest in my electric kit. This set is a great entry level kit. Just the right size and, surprisingly, well put together. The construction is solid and this kit does sound good despite the price. Having said that, Iâve played for over 30 years and Iâm familiar with set up and tuning. I mention this only because, for me, putting the kit together was a breeze.Keep in mind that the snare beads are inside the drum and not outside like a majority of snare drums. You need to adjust the tension on the side for more/less snare sound. Also, the cymbals are cheap (junk may be a more accurate description) but this is also how I assume the manufacturer keeps the cost down. I would also mention that the pin designed to keep the hi-hat pedal in place didnât fit. Easily solved with a trip to the hardware store for a thin bolt though.All in all, this is a kit that can grow with your child or something you wonât regret buying if they lose interest.If you arenât familiar with drums and their set up or how to adjust them, always go to YouTube where you can find literally 1000âs of videos on the subject.

My kids wanted to play drum. I got this for them and have to say it is very sturdy and good for them to play with. It is light weight and the color is blue which is their favorite.

Not a toy!
Even with other good reviews I was still expecting these drums to be more like a toy. I was wrong. It’s a very nice set and sounds much better than I thought it would, which is a very good thing when you have a preteen whaling on them all day.The only negative I have to say is there was some minor damage to one of the drums, where something must have pushed through the box but luckily it was not serious damage, and is not noticeable since it’s on the bottom side.

My neighbors love it!
Assembly was a bit confusing but once assembled the kids are loving it and making plenty of “music” my neighbors are thrilled with the amount of sounds and volume this drum set can produce. It has stood up to quite a beating already. Perfect size for children from 2 years up to preteens seem to enjoy using it. The included stool seat can support a 250 pound man, I’ve tested it for you. Over all good quality and value for the money. This kit is not for professionals playing an arena but is great for the kids to learn music.

It is a great gift for active little ones!Assembly was easy, but instructions could have included more pictures for photogenically inclined persons.A tuner could have been added for persons who have never played.Keeps little ones busy, assists with hand eye coordination and helping to ease them into music appreciation.Will definately recommend.Sturdy, aesthetically pleasing and overal kiddo approved!

Awesome product, drum quality is great even comes with skins for the top and bottom of each can. Something you wont typically find on a kids drum set. The only complaint is the snare drum did not have the piece to give it that snap sound and the stick quaity is cheap. If i could give 4.7 i would. They’re not quite a 5 but better than a four.

My kid loves the drum but the instructions to assemble was absolutely terrible to follow!! I had to watch a YouTube video from a different company to assemble it… thank God for that video…

Great little kit. We bought it for our daughter (who is only 8 weeks old; my husband is getting a little ahead of himself). My husband has played the drums since he was in high school and he set this up and sat down and played it as soon as it arrived. It sounds great and it went together easily. They did need a little tuning when they arrived, but that’s because he is a perfectionist. Can’t wait until the baby is old enough to jam with her dad.
