Good camera, excellent Customer Customer Service, but poor battery life
First, the good.
Really good video quality as long as the 4G signal was strong at both ends of the connection. Remote access viewing. Loved that you did not need to depend on WIFi, which goes out when the power goes out but 4G stays on.
Motion detection is very good. The audio has a bit of static, but you can still make out most higher pitched sounds.
Can’t beat the excellent customer service! I have concerns about the battery life and they responded with tips on how to extend the life, which I have included below to help the next customer.
Now, the bad. Unfortunately, very short battery life, only 12 hours of intermittent checking. You’re going to have to plug in to a wall socket via a usb cable, a charging bank can extend the power for a little bit longer, or maybe a solar power source if you can. But since I want this hidden from view at a location that I am only there on weekends, power is a problem. So far I’ve had to recharge it every day, which takes several hours.
I found a temporary workaround to get twice the life by plugging it into a powerbank when the camera was fully discharged, So that the powerbank charged it all the way up to 100% before the power bank shut itself down, And then I was able to get another period of use until the camera discharged fully again. But that still only gained me an additional twelve hours. Hoping that the company will upgrade with a better battery in the next generation.
Customer service responded back to me with some solutions for the battery life problem:
**The camera usually stays in sleep mode to conserve power and data. However, it will wake up and start recording videos if it detects motion or if you (the owner) check the live view in the UBOX APP. While the camera is in sleep mode, it consumes very little power and no data. On the other hand, when it’s awake and recording videos, it uses a lot of power and data, but only for a short period of time.
If you don’t use it at a fixed time, I suggest you turn off the motion detection switch or set a schedule for motion detection.
Radar detection and online video transmission are both power-consuming.
Here’s some helpful information for your reference:
If there is no motion detection at all, the camera can last up to 30 days.
If there is one motion detection event per day, the camera will last from 10 to 15 days.
If there are multiple motion detection events per day, the camera will last from 3 to 10 days.
If the camera is constantly recording, it will only last for 6 hours.
Additionally, using the live view in the app will wake up the camera and drain the battery quickly.
Unfortunately, this camera doesn’t support solar panel charging, but it can work while plugged in. Using a power bank to power the camera is a good way to extend the battery life.

The original camera comes with only 300 MB of data, which isn’t very much at all, and I had to recharge the Sim card to get more data within 2 days, Again, with only intermittent checking of the feed. Since i’m still debating whether i’m going to keep this camera in use, I only bought 3 gigabytes for $15 as a trial, and will decide on a longer term package if I can work out the power source problem.

This Camera Is Absolutely Amazing!!!
I just purchased the C1 4G Radar mini camera and I gotta tell you, what an amazing little camera it is.
With its small footprint, I never expected it to perform as well as it is! Even on the lowest resolution, this mighty mite has crystal clear video. And the battery life is pretty amazing too, as i have been using it for 3 full days now in a high activity area, and the battery is still over halfway charged. And the fact that it is COMPLETELY wireless, makes it very convenient and easy to use and move anywhere you need it! Buying this camera was an absolutely great decision! I would recommend this camera to anyone! AWESOME!

Great little cam!
This is my 4th camera like this and I love it. The set up is super easy, the images are clear and crisp and my iPhone, and the charge lasts a LONG time. We have left these on for a week at a time while on vacation and they go down to around 95%. The cameras are so little and easy to move around or you can secure them in one place. They are only for indoor use, but at this price thatâs okay with me!

Fa il video da sè di 20 secondi ogni volta che rileva un movimento. I video vengono salvati su un Cloud e puoi vederli gratuitamente sempre gli ultimi 3 giorni (video di oggi, ieri e l’altro ieri)dal quarto giorno bisogna abbonarsi. puoi visionarli direttamente dalla app che se vuoi ti avvisa con una notifica. E puoi scaricarli sul telefono. Dalla app Puoi anche vedere, ogni volta che vuoi , le immagini in diretta. La qualità è buona. L’audio funziona bene ma se la videocamera è inserita dentro a un oggetto cubico tipo una scatoletta rilascia un piccolo rumore di sottofondo che non compromette gli altri suoni registrati. La consiglio per l’ ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo e la disponibilità del venditore sempre pronto per informazioni o eventuali problemi.
