Cheaper Lithium option but works well
I read a lot of reviews and it seemed that most people have not used a lithium battery before on their motorcycle so wanted to share my opinion as I have used various Lithium batteries and was seeking an alternate “affordable” option for my 2017 Kawasaki Z900. I currently have a Shorai on my R1, which never gives me any issues and holds charge for months, but you have to top off with a LITHIUM type of charge. (I have several but Battery tender+ sells one that does both lead/AGM and Lithium at an affordable price.) If you know Shorai, those batteries are double or more compared to this NOCO battery.The battery in my Z900 was likely the original which lasted quite a while, it was a Yuasa and it had the Kawasaki label on the back. As you can see in the picture, it seemed to still have enough crank fully charged at 119A, close to the 136A rating but it does not hold charge well anymore.My NOCO battery came pretty full, I topped off with my Lithium charger and the reading on my OBDII Battery tester read 274A (see pic), that is quite significant compared to OEM. I tested the bike and the cranks very smooth and powerful. I have yet to do a long term test but will hopefully share any new info about the battery and see how long it may hold charge if not used.

This is the perfect choice battery for an ATV. I highly recommend.
It seemed like it was overpriced at the time but when I got the battery and I put it into the ATV, which is a Suzuki Ozark LF 250 I love the quality so much. I went back and bought two more for our other vehicles. itâs super lightweight yeah itâs such a strong cranking power house. I like the adapters to make the battery seem bigger or smaller. It is a very impressive battery The quality of the materials is astounding. I definitely recommend this product.

Not a good replacement battery for an Indian Scout. Ultimately it cost me $530 not including towing.
I was told by NOCO that this battery was equal to the battery (YTX14) that I had in my 2019 Indian Scout. The email from the NOCO representative said the following: “The YTX14 would be compatible with the NLP14.The BMS can trip for a number of reasons including overcharge, over discharge, over current, too hot or too cold, or a short circuit. If your bike is putting out too much current, then the battery would trip to protect itself.While the terms of the warranty would be for a replacement only, if the battery tests bad, we can do a refund to a paypal account with your proof of purchase.If the device tests good, it will be returned to you.I would just need the device serial number, your address and phone number along with a copy of the proof of purchase to start the RMA process.Regards,Chris GNOCO Customer Support SupervisorI sent proof of purchase on Amazon and the serial number in addition to a copy of the Indian Dealership mechanics notes indicating the problem with the battery. I explained that putting this battery in my bike cost me nearly $400 only to find that the battery did not work in my bike and a new Indian factory battery. I was told I needed to pay to mail the battery back to the NOCO and they would test the battery. But, they will not have my bike to test it in. Which shows they do not stand behind their product. This NOCO battery has cost me $530 when you add the original price of the battery and the cost at the dealership to find out why my bike stalled on me twice, leaving me stranded on the side of the road after the NOCO was installed. I explained in a email that I am hesitant to spend more money on a battery which clearly doesn’t work in my bike. So, even if it seems this battery should work for you if you do not send it back in 30 days to Amazon you will be stuck with a battery that doesn’t work and if it is a motorcycle you are putting it in then I hope you have motorcycle towing insurance.

Works for Arctic Cat snowmobiles even though NOCO said they don’t have exact replacement.
So when trying to cross reference the YTX20H-BS – NOCO chat says they do not have a match for my battery needs. The big difference with the battery on my snowmobile is the positive is on the left and the negative is on the right side. When you look at the other NOCO powersports batteries, the positive is on the right and negative on the left; except for the NPL14 battery. I bought this one as it has more than enough CCA to turn over my sled engine. The package comes with multiple spacers to raise the battery up to make it similar in size to the stock battery. The NPL14 fit amazing, hooked up great, and turns my sled over and starts faster than the other AGM battery, and weighs 1/3 of the stock AGM. Great battery – I wish that NOCO would do a bit more research and see what would fit and help customers out more than just say they don’t have a direct replacement. This battery is 500 amps of starting power so more than I need – Looking forward to the 5 year warranty period as well. Thanks NOCO.

It was my first foray into Lithium motorcycle batteries and I love it so far, It cranks much better and stronger than my previous 4 Lead acid batteries. It charges faster, but came fully charged. The brand I trust as I have purchased both the charger in the past for my cars, and other vehicles, and the jump start box from them also. So I am familiar with the brand. The unit is smaller than originals and comes with the adapters to fit the battery box and it’s far lighter as well. Nice Job, I will update in 2 years and after the first winter as I wish to see how the unit does with the trickle charger. Fitment for mine was a 1999 Suzuki Hayabusa. I love the units large connectors and that they use an Allen key to tighten them as most batteries use a system of terrible connectors terminals.

Ennesima batteria da cambiare per la mia R1250GS Adventure. Moto che ha molta elettronica ed ha bisogno di stabilità di corrente per funzionare bene. Pena, errori sul cruscotto oppure trovarsi a piedi in mezzo al nulla senza possibilità di riavviarsi.Ho scelto questa batteria per le recensioni e per il fatto che in poco tempo di riesca a caricare e come tutte le batterie al litio, vero patisce il freddo, ma è anche vero che lasciando un minuto il quadro acceso essa di scalda e riesca dare uno spunto sempre perfetto.Installazione facile perché i contatti sono multiplanari e di ottima qualità . Inoltre, la batteria è leggerissima ed facile da inserire rispetto a quella di serie che è molto pesante. La moto ora si accende sempre senza incertezze. Velocissima a ricaricarsi e perciò molto utile anche quando per esigenza devo usare la moto in città ed accendo e spengo spesso la moto. La batteria è sempre carica in tragitti molto brevi.Ottimo acquisto. Consigliata.Acquistate anche un caricabatterie apposito perché le âlitioâ tollerano davvero poco la scarica completa.
