This can save you from weird PC cases
I ended up needing because the front I/O cables for the Omen 30L case were a proprietary length. Worked great and now this spare parts PC is up and running. One thing to note is the incorrect product was sent the first time, but I’m not sure if that’s the seller’s fault or Amazon’s fault tbh, and Amazon was pretty quick to correct it.

Exactly what I was looking for
I purchased these extensions for a repurposed server. The case I was using had a standard front panel connector while the motherboard had a non-standard layout for the front panel connectors. I really only needed power and didnt need a reset or LED indicator lights so these were perfect. The quality of these cables look good (so far) and the labels were easy to read. A little pricey but I would buy again if they’re on sale.

They solve an important problem, but could have solved it better.
Most people who use these things are getting them to wire a custom adapter for a prebuilt that does something proprietary DELL HP LENOVO to make the product unusable by anyone else and to make their products intentionally e-waste when you outgrow any part of them. You will probably be able to make what you need out of these.
Where these go wrong is the stiff solid-conductor wire they’re made out of. They don’t bend or flex easily, which means they want to pull at the ends in response to any bend in the middle. Translation: They’ll pull off the connector at one end or the other easier than you’d like, so they’re not the most annoyance-free extensions you could ever use.
I have a specific use for these: I’m legally blind, and because front panel connectors are almost standardized now (almost but not quite) 2×10 pin connector for front panel, it’s pretty easy to connect the standard two LEDs and two switches to a motherboard on the bench (read: kitchen table, on top of the motherboard box). It’s hard to do it inside the PC case. So ⦠extension! Then it becomes easy again right? No, because of how stiff the wires are. If these extensions were made with stranded wire, then yes.
The only thing better would be a stacked header connector for your motherboard in the box. ASUS used to do this.
