My son cracked me up
My son wanted a camera that prints things out so this was recommended. I gave it to him for Christmas and he took a picture and then proceeded to tell me how they develop over time and how they have a retro look. Bruh, don’t explain my youth to me….I was in the thick of it when these ORIGINALLY came out lol. He was telling me how old tech worked. Silly goose. The one thing I will say is that I’m honestly disappointed in the quality of the images but maybe that’s the point? I would have thought the tech would have adjusted the quality a little but nope, still looks like photos taken in the 1970’s.

They sucked the fun out of Polaroid
Itâs not real Polaroid. Nothing like the original. The picture quality is terrible and itâs not as easy to use as the original. Theyâre dark and dreary like a 90âs grunge album cover, no matter the lighting. Theyâre a little fuzzy under the best circumstances but if you breathe, you end up with an unrecognizable blob. Thereâs this black plastic cover that pops out over every new photo. You have to carefully remove the picture from under the cover, while the coverâs trying to shoot back inside the camera. There was no weird plastic cover on the old film. And the worst part is that it takes forever for the pictures to develop. You canât watch it develop. Instructions say to sit the picture face down and wait. That was the best part of Polaroid, watching the picture develop in front of your eyes. If you were hoping for that, forget about it. Watching them develop now is like watching paint dry. We have Polaroid pictures from the 70âs and 90âs that are still perfect to this day. Well lit, sharp, clear and we got to watch them develop right in front of our eyes. The pictures from this camera were complete garbage. Theyâre definitely not going into any family album. They literally went into the trash. They shouldnât even be allowed to call this Polaroid. This is junk. We all loved the real Polaroid and canât believe how awful this is. We bought it because of the name. We didnât know that somebody had bought it out and changed the film because they were unable to reproduce Polaroidâs version. My entire family sat around my daughter as she opened this on Christmas morning. It was actually comical when we were collectively like wth when we tried taking pictures with it.Save your time and spend the extra few bucks to get the Fuji film. Itâs not as good as the og polaroid either but itâs light years ahead of this hunk of junk.

Wanted one forever finally got it!!
I love this thing. Worst part is film is $16.99 but itâs easy to use and really brings the retro feel back in photos

Easy to use polaroid, but mediocre quality film.
The polaroid camera takes roughly about 15 minutes to develop the film once you take a photo and once it’s developed, the photo is dim and can be fuzzy. You need a lot of light for it to be less dim. You may need a ring light to help with that. It is fun and easy to use, but the quality is only ok. I say purchase this camera for the aesthetic, not the quality. If you only care about polaroid photo and not the camera, then I recommend purchasing a polaroid printer.

Fun novelty item to have
A little bit pricey for the mechanism and material of this product. However, it makes up for the nostalgic euphoria it brings. A sentimental camera that will capture candid moments without AI or photoshop influence. One advise is to make sure you have enough lightings around your subject. The flash on the camera can only do so much.
