Great motor, great price, great service
Why is it that air conditioners only go out when it’s 106 degrees outside and about 80% humidity? Well that was my case over labor day weekend, and every other supplier that I could think of was closed for the long weekend, but not Amazon. They truly saved my bacon with my family, by not only having a quality part available, but were able to deliver it same-day!
Now, on to the motor. Truly a quality motor, that was an exact replacement for the one I pulled out of my AC blower. What’s even better, this motor is much more efficient than the one it replaced. While both being rated at 1/2 HP, my old one consumed 11 amps, while the new one is only 5.9! I will gladly take the power savings!
Be forwarned, however, that because of this, you must also purchase a new capacitor that is smaller is size than the original, as you cannot use an oversized motor run capacitor or the motor will tend to be out of phase, run warm, and not nearly as efficient as it should be!
It installed without issue, the color coding of the wires matched the old one perfectly. It is SOOOOO much quieter than the old one! I could not be happier. Air movement is identical to the old one, I truly have no complaints.
I would not hesitate to purchase again. Highly recommended.

    Lasted 6 months -disappointing
Disappointing, the motor burned the windings within 6 months , needed to replace, the worst was nether the manufacturer (Rheem) and/or Amazon honored there warranty claims

Perfect fit for Rheem ac/ gas furnace blower fan.
Perfect fit and smooth working. They should make the terminals insulated. Original motor has insulation covered terminals.

    Perfect replacement.
This motor is quite and quick to start up.
Perfect replacement for my old emerson motor.
It was hard to find a replacement that would fit because this blower motor has a much shorter dimension than most other blowers out there.
FYI this listing claims 1075 rpm but motor says it is 1050 rpm.

Quieter, faster, and uses less lower.
My current motor on my Rheem Criterion II was starting to make noises. After it started failing to start (just made a buzzing noise), I replaced the capacitor (do that at the same time: here’s the one I used: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0727MMYGG/ ) but it still ran very unevenly. When I removed the old motor, I found that the bearings had blown and it had grease all over.
The new motor runs at a higher speed (more air blown) and my furnace works so much better now, yet the new motor uses significantly less power and is much quieter. $50 + 30 minutes of my time and my furnace will last another few years, fantastic.
One note worth mentioning: My old motor that came with the furnace was a 4 speed (High, med-high, med-low, low speeds), and had a yellow wire. This motor is a 3 speed (high, medium, low speeds), without a yellow wire. It will still work perfectly fine, you just won’t connect the yellow wire. See my photos.

Home HVAC Blower Motor Replacement is EZ DIY Job!
This was exact replacement for blower motor in my home HVAC. With instructions I found online, I was able to do this myself and figure I saved at least $150 over calling an HVAC service company.
Look for the manufacturer’s nameplate on the old motor, Google the numbers, this is how to find the correct match. Job requires very few tools, should not take more than an hour or so even if you have to go back and look at the video several times. Write down where each wire goes as you disconnect them. BE SURE AND TURN POWER TO UNIT OFF BEFORE STARTING THE WORK!!
I rate difficulty of this repair at 3 out of 10, 1 being very easiest DIY and 10 requiring contractor-level skills and/or equipment.

    Works great!
Replaced my GE blower motor and fits perfectly! Tried to shop locally, but they ordered a motor that didn’t fit. That wasted a couple hours and meant time when our house was at 80°+F. With the entire family home all day, that really sucks. After a bunch of searches, I found this model number listed in the description of a YouTube video. Looked exactly like my broken one. Swap was easy.
