Looks good/ works as described- gas powered.
Purchase for my daughter who lives in Texas, she says that it does work well, so I purchased her an extra one for upstairs. Now she has two, so with those Texas hurricanes and the power going out for weeks, now she has a generator for downstairs, and also one for upstairs. Now she doesnât have to call around, trying to find an over priced hotel, or calling friends to see if they have power. Sheâs fine and safe at home.

900w generator
We needed a small generator or battery to power our fish tanks while our whole home generator was serviced for 8 hours (the power needs to be turned off at the street). A rental was $75+ so this was an easy decision to just buy something.
Disregard 20% of the negative reviews as this generator, like nearly all portable generators, gives a peak and running load. All generators are designed to handle a brief surge to allow for certain devices that require a boost of power to start.
I have used the âuniversalâ 2-stroke additive from the hardware store mixed as instructed. The generator started quickly and as others have stated, sounds like a 30 year old chainsaw until you apply load at which point it smooths out.
What better to hook it up to then a 1500w space heater with 3 temperature settings with an in-line watt meter?
It actually handled 1500w but the red light went off and it was angry. Voltage dipped. The next setting down was better but still not quite right.
I also tried a hammer drill which were worked perfectly and seemed to make the generator happy.
The power is DIRTY. No other way to describe it. If youâre running power tools or probably a cheap fridge, youâll be fine. Donât plug electronics into this you care about without using a power conditioner of some kind in front of it (most UPS devices over $100-$150 will provide sine wave technology).

Works great
Have used this generator a few times and very happy with it. If gas is fresh and oil mixture is correct it runs good. It has stopped running a few times, but started back up and kept running. So far I’ve only used it to recharge battery stations. Takes about 3 hrs to charge my two 500w battery stations.

Love it!
This little generator has kept me going at my job site when my expensive Champion failed time and time again. I would highly recommend!

Horrible
It never worked once. Every few minutes it shuts down, good luck.
