Works as advertised
The blower is very convenient to use. Just put in a freshly charged battery. Itâs great for clearing grass clippings on sidewalks and driveways.
leaves, mulch and small debris is easily moved, plus I use it to quickly dry off a just washed vehicle.
Not as powerful as a corded blower, but way more convenient and it gets the job done.

Needs a good 6Ah Battery
Powerful, but @18V requires a 6Ah battery for best performance. I have a number of other Ryobi 18v tools, and this is my 2nd blower. The 1st one lasted 4yrs, so i got this model as a replacement, for clearing my driveway of leaves. It does a better job than my old one, but without a decent 6Ah generic Ryobi battery, it doesn’t perform very well. When comparing generic battery’s, look for one that weighs the most; I’ve found this to be the best way to judge battery performance.
Well sorry to say, but this Ryobi blower, barely held up for a year & a half, when it started to show signs of imminent failure; trigger needs pulling 2x before starting, motor making louder groaning noise while running & getting louder the more continuous it got. Hardly worth the money….

Nice blower but get the 4ah battery
This a pretty powerful blower for an electric/battery model. Will easily take care of debris on hard surfaces. Will know more when fall comes. Fairly loud actually and do yourself a big favor and get the 4ah battery. The smaller ones last only 5 min.

Excellent performance with one important note
Excellent power, does exactly what I need. One note, make sure to run it with a Ryobi 18v High Performance battery. There is a noticeable bump up in power when running the High Performance battery over the standard battery.

More powerful than I expected.

Good choice
Overall battery power disappointing compared to electric but it gets the job done and is more powerful than 20v âBerscobâ that was rated almost double what this is rated. Donât get tempted by cheap brands, theyâre exactly that, cheap

Very good power for the price
I like the fact that it is easy to use and uses the same battery as all my other tools. Definitely a power hog, needs the big battery like a 7 ah battery not the smaller batteries. Not as powerful as my corded one is, but I did not expect it to be, if I wanted to spend more money I could have bought the bigger one. I am very satisfied with the blower.
