My alternative to costly DeWalt tools.
Everything works great! The battery life is excellent for each tool. They are all lightweight but without that “cheap” feeling. I always wanted a DeWalt set as many years back my aunt gave me a 12v dewalt drill. I started looking at their tools and couldn’t believe my eyes when i saw the prices! I am not a contractor, just a big DIY guy at my house. So no need for me to spend over a grand on 6 tools. Instead, i got 6 tools for under $200. Then i added more batteries and bought a few more tools, like a router, a blower, and a miter saw. Ryobi may not live up to dewalt’s rep, but in 2000 i bought a gas-powered weed wacker. It was a Ryobi. I put that thing through hell and since i did maintain yearly care of it, it lasted 12 years for me! THAT is impressive and is the main reason i chose these Ryobi tools over the much MUCH more expensive dewalt tools. 5 of 5 stars and i would very much recommend. I may even buy my son and my father-in-law this exact set. Wonderful tools!

Awesome Deal
This is my second set of Ryobi tools that I’ve bought. The first one I use at home and I kept having to bring it in to work as my employees liked to use it so much I went and bought this set just to keep at work. The battery life is quite long. I bought a blower to go with the 18v batteries that came with this set. I use it to blow down the bleachers after the basketball games. I only need 2 batteries to do a professional-size school gymnasium’s bleachers. One battery does all the seats from the top to bottom on one side and part of the other side. Then I switch out the battery and finish the other side. Our bleachers have the bottom portion that lifts up, so I lift them all up and climb under the bleachers to blow out the debris that the spectators leave behind that are obviously illiterate as there are numerous signs that say “NO FOOD or DRINKS ALLOWED in the GYM”. After every school event, I have about 20 lbs of debris.
I only tell you this story to show you the life of the batteries. When using either drill, circular saw, reciprocating saw, multi-tool. I can finish whatever project I’m working on and then some without having to recharge.
The fact that you get all these tools and a nice carrying bag for a pretty low price compared to what you would pay if you bought them separate is a deal you need to get in on. I’ve had my other set going on 5 years now and the batteries are still strong, I did have to replace one of the chargers, but none of the tools themselves have broken down.

Entry Level Deal/ in a box
Look. We all know Milwaukee is the king of tools, but it also comes with responsibility to see big contracts through. Ryobi is for the guy who works at home and you want more than enough power for the job, or a novice in construction or contracting and you are on the job learning from seasoned vets in business.
You should not be working on equipment with this value exceeding $15k anyway, until you are leveled up.
That being said. Buy them. The price is not going to stay here long. Guys are talking and the word is getting out. You can keep calling them cheap looking fisher price toys, but these kick Hercules line but, and that is a good contender for this price range.
However, I chose Ryobi because I am going to transition out of Ryobi eventually and these will be great home tools that can last for ever if I don’t torque them full throttle daily.
IF you can afford $400 additional dollars, Makita and Milwaukee are the ONLY other ones I would consider upgrading to. Those tools are tanks, but the old Makita.

Impressive
I ordered this set because I planned to build a fence around my two acres and a privacy fence surrounding the backyard behind my house. These batteries last me all day. I am constantly using the driver, circular saw, and reciprocating saw, interchanging the batteries. They all work well under moderate pressure, cutting 2×4’s, pickets, screwing in & out screws. The driver is most impressive, real torque power there driving in 3½” screws. I’m mainly using a Paslode XP cordless nail gun for all the fastening but these Ryobi’s are great auxiliary tools! Makes my cordless experience save lots of time. For the price, you cannot beat it. I think it’s well worth it and more. One of my best investments. I really, really love them and the amount of money I saved, well, I really, really love that too!

Great tools
Fantastic tools. The only thing keeping this review at 4/5 instead of 5/5 is the bag. It is just a hassle to get everything back in there to store.
The tools are super easy to use, and the batteries charge quite fast. Again these all perform great but they are just a bit too big to all fit comfortable in the bag.

Cheaper Tool Set Than the Other Brands
This tool set is way cheaper than the other brands like Milwaukee or Makita. Battery life is very good. I’ve used about every tool and so far I’m impressed with their performance. I don’t baby my tools either so I can say with confidence that they handle abuse very well. The saw saw and the drill are my favorite tools so far probably because I use them more often than the other tools. I’ve use the circular saw a couple of times now. Its portability is very handy and can handle sizes like 2X4’s pretty well.
The warranty is also better than the other brands. Ryobi gives you 3 years warranty on all 18V tools except the batteries so this is also a plus. Their cheaper and offer longer warranty because their trying to make a name for themselves and want to compete with the other known brands. If you buy these tools you will not be disappointed with the performance. Time will tell how long they last though.

Great package on Ryobi tools, great seller
Good tools and that price point they are perfect for my small projects around the house. The charger it came with was broken and I didn’t want to return the entire package for just a charger so I wrote the seller. He didn’t get back to me but in a few days I had a new charger on my front steps so definitely recommend the seller as well for making things right.
