Did not get a power cable
Summary until i get a power cord: Overall the console is very clean, and packaged nicely with no damage done to the console or controller. Slight signs of wear on the console and controller, but only if you are looking for them and a reason to be upset. Questionable quality control but the best customer service I have ever gotten and I would absolutely buy from this seller again.

Console and controller seem to be in good condition, no dirt or finger prints, but I got 2 HDMI cables, a super cheap micro USB cable to charge the controller, and no power cable for the console. I contacted the seller immediately to try to get a replacement power cord, and I will update later.

Seller responded quickly with a partial refund and a power cord is on the way

Found out the power cord was actually sent to PA and not MN, contacted the seller immediately, he responded the next day with another power cord shipment, and 2 bonus games. I will update again once the package arrives.
Update 9/23/23
Power cord and games arrived on the 19th, and I have given the console a few days to analyze the performance and such. As expected the power cord that was finally sent to me works perfectly, the games look to be in good condition although they are not really games I would play. No matter, I appreciate the seller for compensation for the issues and will likely try the games sometime soon since I have them, no point in wasting them.
Performance wise, the console has a few lag spikes when playing god of war 2018, but I counted 2 in the 4 days I have been playing. As my friends warned me about, the ps4 fan is extremely loud, but I have noise canceling headphones for that. On the topic of headphones, the audio cuts out sometimes when useing the aux port on the controller, it hasn’t the few times I was just using my TV speakers. It’s not often enough or long enough to impact my game at all, just something to note. Overall, 9/10 experience, probably should have gone with the ps4 pro, but its alright.

Does now work at all! Seller refuses to make this right!
I bought this for my daughter for christmas. Its in good shape as far as we can tell, but when it’s turned on, the system does not recognize the controller. We tried different controllers we know works on our other PS4 and nothing. Plugged in the paddle to the ports on the front and it doesn’t work. Does not light up the paddle at all. This is so frustrating. Im returning this and going with a different provider.
**** Update. 3/2/2025**** Took it to a repair shop. This PS4 has a bad motherboard, and the paddle is just a shell. There is no working parts in it at all. I lost money on this and the seller isn’t even doing anything about it. It had layers of dirt and grime in the fan system and a corrupted hard drive. This seller needs to be removed from Amazon. This is just bad business. CDR repair said this seller has to have known they were selling bad systems.

Maaaaaan! I definitely love my PS3 and glad Amazon had the availability but I’m really here to brag on the insurance!!
Any electronics that you purchase through AMAZON, absolutely spend that extra money for the insurance!! Ok, so I got the system for myself for Xmas in 2021 and me and baby daddy went hard and played it a ton in 2022 til I kicked him out in March 2023. That last like 5 weeks was rough because the system had quit working and we didn’t have anything else to connect with, yadda yadda. I had completely forgot that I had insurance til a couple weeks later (lol of course I was lying down to sleep and popped up to tear my house up looking for the hard copy of the policy)
When I called to file the claim, from the time they picked up the phone until they sent the survey afterwards, they were amazing! I’ve been working customer service for 25 years and they as a team are what I teach my trainees. They got my system fixed and were ON IT when a VERY minor situation came up. I bought something from 2 other chains and had to file a claim on both items and it was the WORST experience! Plus Asurion or whatever completely took care of shipping which brightened my day and made one of the other’s mad (hopefully) when I wouldn’t shut up about them making me pay to get it to them.

Aside from the shipping taking longer than it said and not shipped through Amazon, the PS4 works okay, runs loud at times, gets hot at times and looks like it was well used. Also the controller you get is NOT a PlayStation controller. For the price and after playing it for a few days it is a good PS4. I do wish the cord for the controller was longer that a foot

Renewed BUT plays like new!!!!!!!
First off, I’m not much of a gamer at all…but I took a chance on a renewed PlayStation 4 slim system. I’ve been nothing but impressed!!!! Especially since I’m not a gamer although I’ve spent almost 300$ on games between Amazon and another site. Some ppl was saying the slim was slow. Well all I play are racing games and pinball games ( I’m old!!! ) and was playing Atari when you prob weren’t around!!!! which is good for you cuz your young!!! lol… the system I heard gets hot…mine does not. Some had said I believe It sounds like a jet engine….I got lucky you can’t even hear mine playing!!! So if I get a year or hopefully more out of this for the 150$ I spent… it was way worth it. Although it would hurt because of the bills I’ve spent on games. I can see why PS5’S don’t seem to be flying off the shelves. I have a 4k tv mid-level Samsung and the graphics are unreal. I would recommend especially if your torn on getting a PS5 . BTW does it get a little warm??? of course it does but my modem is warmer so that tells you how worried I am about it and it’s very quiet. GRAB ONE!!!! you can always return it I believe they give you at least 30 days to return but of course double check.
