It meets its specs, your results will vary
The one thing you want to know about buying a solar panel is if it will meet its specs. The best way you can do that is to compare it to other solar panels you might already have, so you can test them to see how well they work for you. There’s a lot of things that affect solar panel performance, such as access to sun, temperature, even things like humidity in your arrea, the run (The length of the cable between the solar panel and your power station), and a host of other factors.
So I’m not going to bother with posting my own results because yours will vary. What I will say is that I have used this solar panel, and compared it to Jackery proprietary 200 w solar panels, and this solar panel has performed comparably, Even though the other panels are bifacial and this one is not.
If you’re going to need this for camping, then it’s a very flexible and portable option. I’m actually using it stationary at my house, and it has already proven to hold up to rain and cold weather. These panels also have four kickstand legas, which make it easier to set up.
It’s obvious that this brand is trying to mimic the look of Jackery solar panels, but they do great and also meeting the specs of the jackery solar panels, with similar voltage and amperage. I paired mine with Jackery power stations that use the DC 8020 power input. I can strongly recommend these solar panels because they work, are compatible with a wide variety of power stations, and they meet their advertised specifications.

Outstanding Performance and Portability: A Must-Have Solar Panel
I recently ordered the ZOUPW 100-Watt Portable Solar Panel for Power Station (100W 20V Foldable Solar Charger with Solar Cable USB Output, 23.5% High Efficiency, IP67 Waterproof Adjustable Kickstands) on August 21, 2024. It arrived promptly on August 23, 2024, just in time for our yard sale and tailgate event at the Greenwood Market on August 23-24, 2024.
Setting up the solar panel was a breeze. I placed it in direct sunlight, and it delivered the power I needed effortlessly. Not only did it power my setup, but it also attracted a lot of attention from customers. The solar panel’s presence sparked interest, giving me an opportunity to share my knowledge about solar power and wattage. To my surprise, around ten people asked for the Amazon link to purchase the same solar panel and the Jackery 290 Explorer. This 100-watt solar panel exceeded my expectations and did an outstanding job for our needs.
I wasnât initially well-versed in solar technology, but after some research, I made an informed decision to purchase this panel, and I’m thrilled with the results so far. The Jackery 290 Explorer I paired it with used only 10% of its charge over four hours, leaving it at 90% on August 24, 2024. As of today, August 27, 2024, it still holds that charge, and I’m curious to see how long it will last before reaching 50%.
The solar panel’s portability, foldable design, and waterproof features are incredibly convenient. The smart charging technology with dual USB-A and USB-C outputs is particularly impressive; I didnât even need to use the Jackery to charge my phoneâI simply used the solar panel.
One minor drawback is the kickstands; I recommend adding something extra to secure them to the ground, as the panel can tip over in windy conditions.
Overall, this ZOUPW solar panel has been an excellent purchase, and Iâm looking forward to testing it further at our next yard sale and tailgate event at the Greenwood Market. Just to note, Iâm not a paid sponsor or sales agent for the ZOUPW solar panel or the Jackery 290W.
Stay tuned for my next review!

Works great, but donât count on 100 W.
This is a very high-quality unit easy to use and set up. Of course, as 100 W rating might be only at noon on a bright sunny day with optimal sunlight. Donât count on getting 100 W. Best I could get was about 65 to 75 on a fall day in full sunlight. I think this goes for all photovoltaic charging units so others are probably no better. Just donât count on the hundred watts if you need to charge something and need 100 W. Get a second one.

Great value for the money
Works fantastically with my DJI Power 1000 & mppt controller

It works well.
The stands should be adjustable and in truth it is 175w however I do believe it would peek at 200w under perfect circumstances. All in all: 5 Stars
Very easy installation, affordable price, really good surveillance and quality –
Practical 100w
Practical way to use solar panels, good for cells, tablets, and portable battery

The Devil’s Advocate –
Somewhat disappointing
I bought this expecting to get about 80 watts of power on a clear day. So far, I’ve been unable to sustain more than 73 watts on a clear day. This is in South Florida at only a few feet above sea level. But we do get a lot of clear blue sky days so it’s somewhat disappointing. It starts out producing higher, as in the upper 70s but quickly (minutes) falls back to the lower 70s. It seems that it is less efficient after it heats up. Given the power output, this is only useful to recharge small power stations, perhaps up to a 500Wh unit, and that may be pushing it. The problem is there won’t be enough usable hours of sun in a day to recharge high capacity power stations so if you’ve got a high capacity power station, I’d recommend considering only 200W and above solar panels. The selection of ends for the cables that are provided is excellent and the unit’s construction is very good. It is covered in fabric which I don’t like because it gets dirty and torn up too easily. But it is very portable and for a low capacity power station will work just fine.
