   Amazing!
   We just lost power for 9 days during the Palisades fire and this generator shipped the day after I ordered and came in literally 20-ish minutes before our power went out. I had a neighbor help set it up and looked very easy to do. I was able to easily start it by myself and run multiple extension cords to power essentials. We plugged wifi, tv, phone chargers, refrigerator, deep freezer, cappuccino machine, and air fryer. When using the kitchen appliances we would unplug the deep freezer or refrigerator to make sure we didn’t exceed wattage. Very easy to just unplug and plug what was needed in. This saved us! The only thing I wish we could have done was plugged our water heater in and some better lighting. We are now looking at the higher wattage as we are already looking at another power shutoff Monday. I have recommended this one to so many people already! 9 straight days of use from the moment we took it out of the box. I recommend getting 50+ feet for the cords and power strips to plug in multiple things via extension cords. It ran all night long without going off from gas usage. We got 3 2gallon gas cans and a 5 gallon and used a siphoning device for that to transfer gas. It would last 8 hours easy on a tank. Easy peasy! I started it multiple times no husband needed. A child could operate easily. Very user friendly. Highly recommend. Great price and it’s very lovely looking and quiet. The guys that helped set me up asked me for the link bc they couldn’t believe how well it worked and how quiet it was. Thanks for saving our lives this last week +! Sorry for the jumbled review but wanted to make sure to get all the information out there.

   Great little generator
   The generator started the 2nd time I pulled the starter. It is sturdy and well designed. I’ve only tested under light loads but it functions perfectly. It is very quiet and just hums along!

   Easy to live with, Quiet as advertised
   Great machine, great company. I’ve lived off the grid with 2 WEN 4800 generators since November 2024, if you want solid reliable performance, change the oil as recommended (critical – no oil filter}. If you have a problem, customer service will fix it, no problem! I have the electric start and manual start versions, super bang for the buck.

   A Life Saver
   Excellent generator! I live in southern California and experienced a few power outages due to extreme winds (no fire thank goodness). This generator, with just one outage, paid for itself because we did not have to go to a hotel. It powered the fridge, TV, my computer, the internet and cable lines, and a lamp. Could have added more. It ran all day (about 8 hours) on a single tank. Super easy to set up and understand how to operate. We did have a certified electrician (a friend), train us on how to properly use it but still could have figured out to operate it with the guides that came with it and watching a few YouTube videos. Highly recommend to get you through those few days of outages.

   A mind-changer of epic proportion
   UPDATE: I never imagined I’d be writing this. So, the first use was flawless. Camping trip was a success. Stored it per mfr recommendations. Now that I want to use it, IT WILL NOT START. I read a few reviews like this but now I’m experiencing this issue. I’m not new to small engine equipment and this is ridiculous.I cannot in good conscience recommend this unit.I’ve owned other WEN products over the years and was less than satisfied for many of them… until now. I needed an inverter generator for an RV trip that could completely support the RV. 4000w is what I needed and this was the best option on paper available in that power range.This unit ran the AC, lights, pumps, appliances without a hitch. This was not a temporary run but rather constant operation with exception of refeulling and an oil drop after the first 9hrs of constant operation. A total of 70+ hrs were run on this unit afterwards.The most surprising stat is how much runtime I got from a full tank. 12hrs at one point before running dry. I received many compliments from others about the noise level being so low. They all had open frame models that were definitely louder.I was unsure of this purchase but I’m now a believer. WEN, you changed my mind.

   Quiet and efficient
   We use this while camping and noise is not bothersome at all. One full tank will run 7/12 hours continuously. Great unit, recommend.

   Good generator overall with a few cons.
   Good gen for the money. Only feature missing is electric start, as it’s going to be tougher to start with a pull over time. Output is good, and more than what I needed for a few important circuits. Access cover for checking oil is a pain. Could use a quick connect fastener instead of two screws that keep falling out of the cover when it’s removed.

   AWESOME Generator
   Have owned a number of portable Generators and this is the best so far—Easy to start—Good on Fuel—very powerful, will run both my A/C units at the same time in my Toyhauler—Runs at low rpms compared to other generators so it is quiet under a Heave load—-Have over 50Hrs and it is AWESOME !!!! I have another Gen-Westinghouse I2500 and this WEN is Noticeably Quieter—the Westinghouse runs about 3300 RPMs under a 1500 watt load and the WEN runs about 3600 Rpms under a 3000 Watt load-will order another with Remote start which would be handy as we dry camp all winter in West Arizona !!!! Purchased Aug. 2nd—
