    Amazing and quiet!
I bought 2 of these to parallel for my new 50 trailer. My thought was carrying 2 lighter generators is better than on really heavy one. I can pick these up and load them myself. I am 52 years old and 5’8″. My plan is to only use these with propane but if I have to I can do both to run all day and night without filling more than one a day. It has a auto switch from propane to gas without having to switch and restart. I really like that feature. I typically only camp in cooler climates but you never know. I will also use these for power backup due to power outage. The setup and initial oil changes was easy and it comes with everything but the oil and magnetic dipstick. It’s highly recommended you use synthetic and the dipstick got a lot of metal shavings out of the engine and should prolong the life now.I did have one issue with a co sensor that was faulty on one, but amazon handled it promptly and with care. These are made with excellent buildmanship. Seem strong and I can move them around easy. Love the remote start!I would highly recommend.

    It’s great!
The unit is as quiet as my Honda EU2000. It runs my trailers air conditioning perfectly even on ECO mode. On Eco mode running my AC it ran over 11 hours on 5 gallons of propane and my frig was on and cook a few meals on the stove and made a batch of cookies in the oven. The remote start is it must have. Yes it a bit heavy compared to a suit case style but powerful and extremely quiet. Run on great on propane and is surprisingly efficient on its propane consumption. Would definitely buy again.

    Great value, great options.
We live off the grid and use both solar and generators for our many electrical needs, as well as propane for heat, fridge, and hot water. So dependable generators are a must. This one has all the bells, whistles, and safety options available. We wanted remote stop and start on this one, and that meant buying a duel fuel option as well. The pros of having a propane back-up is that propane doesn’t go bad during storage. The cons of using propane is the enormous consumption and reduced power; it is rated at 20 pounds of propane should last nine hours at half-load. That would get very expensive, very quick. Two gallons of gasoline will give you the same runtime, and do it at approximately ¼ the cost! (But again, gasoline will go bad in storage). The generator actually runs longer on gasoline than the manufacturer states. By far the remote start and stop are truly a blessing, we are in our 60s and having to go out in inclement weather to start or stop the generator is always an adventure and a slip and fall risk going up and down steps. The remote stop function will save you a lot more gas than you might suspect. This series of generators need consistent maintenance for maximum performance. Regular oil level checks and appropriate oil changes — we recommend a full synthetic 5W-30 —, regular air filter cleaning or replacement, and regular spark plug cleaning and adjustment or replacement. We use the NGK sparkplugs and they can be found for approximately $3.50 each if you search Amazon for a multi-pack. Good luck and enjoy!

    A workhorse of a generator!
This WEN generator has been reliable and a workhorse at our hunting camp. Never fails so far and is very quiet. The remote control works great and it runs well on propane and gas. Highly recommend. We have been through several different brands and find the WEN brand to be the most reliable.

    Propane to gasoline switch
The generator failed to switch from propane to gasoline. You have to turn propane off or it just barely runs. I have a problem now where it won’t run at all. I changed the oil every five days. I live off grid in my little rv trailer. The service from these people is terrible, I’m in NM and nearest repair center Arizona. The gentleman I was talking to was rude, non caring basically told me I bought the wrong generator, there’s is only to be used in an emergency, not made to run 24 hours. He was totally disrespectful. The generator is only for emergency, they just don’t tell you that when you purchase the generator. Run don’t Easter your money like I did.
