    Perfect low/mid-range dual fuel generator
I purchased this for use during emergency power outage situations, like we experienced last winter here in Texas and for use on some newly acquired land. I have never used a generator before, but I can say that I am seriously impressed by this generator.First, thing you notice is it is actually beautiful and extremely beefy. Some generators are simply ugly, but this one is not. It is well built and quite heavy which is great because it stays in place without vibrating all over the place, but it is not too heavy for a single person to load into a truck. The wheels are sturdy and it is very easy to maneuver. Even though the weigh of this generator is not too bad, I would not want one this size without wheels. The controls are very self explanatory and the remote/electric start are honestly really great for a generator of this size. It comes with the battery which some other ones do not so that is a bonus.I purchased a dual fuel so that it could be run on propane or gas. Thus far I have only tested with propane and it was very simple to set up and get going and the noise level is not bad at all. Again, I have never worked with a generator before, but it is much quieter than my air compressor which is what I was expecting it to sound like.In the end, I wish I would have purchased this before the supply chain issues raised all of the prices, but even with that, the cost was not out of line and I am very happy with what I got for the money.

    Life saver
I needed a generator because we’ve been losing power off too lately. I’ve been dealing with some breathing issues and it was incredibly stressful to pack everything up and go to Indiana. It was easy to assemble. Once I had a dissemble it was easy to move. I’m gonna start it up tomorrow but I trust it’s gonna work great and if not you’ll know. I can run it with propane or gas which I’m sure will come in handy at some point. It is more than enough power each way to run what I need if the power goes out. All the instructions are easy to follow and with Amazon offering payments it made it easier on my wallet. I had ordered one prior to this and somehow I got lost but I ordered this and had 2 days later. So far it’s been a great experience and I’m glad it worked out the way it did. Looking forward to trying the push button start/stop. And it just looks good.

    Good dual fuel electrical generator.
Runs great, fairly quiet, is been a reliable machine, more than enough to power my camper trailer. I haven’t taken the time to adjust the choke. I have to open it a little by pushing the choke lever with my finger to get it to start in sub-freezing weather. I added car battery in parallel with the starter battery for really cold weather.

    Great first impression overall!
Really pleased with this generator at first impression! Very easy to install the feet and wheel kit, all tools necessary were included with the packaging. Filled it up with oil (included funnel was a really nice touch!) per the instructions and that’s pretty much it from a setup perspective. Hooked up my propane tank via the included regulator hose and got ready to start her up for the first time. I have to say that the push button start is REALLY easy to use and a great feature! It literally started right up without much, if any hesitation. Used the key fob to shut it down and then restart it and it worked flawlessly!I do wish this model had an hours meter of some sort, but I guess that’s not really all that big of a deal. The only minor inconvenience was the fact that one of the upper gas tank mounting points was a little warped looking. Really just a minor production mistake with no bearing on the functionality, but I’m kind of OCD, so I loosened the bolt and straightened out the mount. All in all, I’m definitely in love with this generator! On propane, it really wasn’t that loud at all.. Super pleased with my purchase!!

    Good quality generator
While I just received this generator I’ve owned and operated plenty of generators working in construction. This generator seems very well built. Unboxing and set up is very minimal. The wheels are put on by a bolt and a hitch pin, it was a breeze. The feet use 10mm nuts (they include a cheap open end wrench). Adding oil was simple with the specialized funnel. I wish they would include a small bag to attach to the generator to keep the included tools and funnel but I’ll make something up. This generator was bought to use with propane specifically so the winterizing/storage prep would be minimal. Really just oil changes. On that note they give you a nice maintenance chart that if followed I’m sure this thing will last for many years.First startup wasn’t turn key per say. The choke set to auto has been unable to get the propane started but its a simple lever moved over while the auto start is kicking on. The battery had plenty of juice to trouble shoot things out of the box. Once started it is way more quite than comparable generators and ran very smoothly so that was nice. I didn’t realize it came with a key fob for remote starts. This seems handy if you have it in the back of your truck or something like that but as a backup in my set up its just for show. They include a small charger for your battery that plugs in next to the outlets. Plugging this in I found 0 way to tell its actually working besides the wall wart gets warm. No indicator light on the adapter or the generator so this feels like a cross your fingers and hopefully its charged when you need it. Seems like a big oversite for a simple feature. Reading through the manual and trying to find information online was fruitless. I could still be missing something. On another note I gave this pull start a couple pulls when I was setting it up and the engine seemed well oiled and turned over surprisingly easy which gives me confidence as to the quality overall. Also if the battery fails I don’t feel like I will be struggling much to get this going by hand.I haven’t owned this generator long, but its a good generator and I would recommend it.

It had issues at first to start on propane. I am solely on propane. But once it started once, no issues. It gave power for a 48 power outage. I recommend. No need for gas. This thing is great!

The. Product started no problem, simple process to switch fuel, very quiet did not strain when the load was high, and the remote start which they don’t mention it comes with was a real bonus, my friend next to me came over and took a good look at the unit and is now buying one

Bought this generator to use when boondocking with our 35 foot 5th wheel. Its dual fuel so I don’t have to carry or purchase gasoline since I am running a diesel truck this is a great help. We always have propane available and I have it step up to run right out of the back of my truck. This generator makes things easy with remote start, fuel choice and the way its is built.

The product is really well designed, you have dual fuel gas and propane (very important, when the power is down in your town or neighborhood, you won’t be able to fill you gas can, but you can still buy a filled propane tank). Switching from one supply to another is very easy. You also have a remote starter, convenient during the Canadian winter (it will not work for the initial start, but you can stop it for one hour or two and start again without going out again). Now do not follow the manual for the initial set-up, it is easy but the battery has to be connected BEFORE you attach the wheel, not after. Moreover the generator is delivered with a quart of engine oil 10W30, it is OK for California, but for Canada what you really need is a quart of 5W30.The main problem is not with the generator but with the responsiveness of the customer service, if you need a part you can get a case number but you won’t get any farther, I got the email message:’Thank you for contacting Westinghouse Portable Power Customer Support.A member of our Team will respond to your case as soon as possible.’and then no member of the team ever contacted me. It is probably link to the fact that we are in Canada, but if they can sell it here they also should commit to some service…

The generator arrived on schedule, and after some minor assembly and applying engine oil and gas the generator started up successfully.
