Description

Want to conquer everyday cutting tasks without the heft and the hassle of a traditional chainsaw? Meet the mini saw that can do it all. The Worx 20V Cordless Pruning Saw is perfectly sized, easy to use, and powered for high performance trimming, bucking, pruning, and more. Backed by a brushless motor, this cordless chainsaw chews through branches at 33 ft/s. Even at max speed, it keeps vibration low to help you cut more precisely and prevent hand fatigue. As versatile as it is powerful, this mini chainsaw cordless tool tackles a wide range of projects, from trimming and delimbing to bucking and wood cutting. It delivers a 2X faster cutting speed and 60% longer runtime compared to previous model to get more done in less time. This mini chain saw runs on Power Share batteries, compatible with 140+ Worx cordless tools, outdoor power and lifestyle products on the Power Share Platform. Reach tall branches and trim in tight spaces with ease. Weighing in at just 3 lbs. (w/ battery), this electric saw fits immense cutting power into a compact design for on-the-go convenience. Unlike a bulky traditional chainsaw, it’s light enough to hold with one hand, letting you work longer without getting worn out. Proper chain lubrication is essential—but manually adjusting the oil can really slow you down. Plus, it can be difficult to figure out how much oil you need for each job. With the Smart Chain Lubrication system, you can skip the hassle. It automatically adjusts oil flow based on branch thickness to maximize chain life, minimize waste, and eliminate guesswork. Chain tensioning and replacement are both tool-free, reducing downtime for easier productivity. Simply turn the housing-cover knob in a counterclockwise direction. The bar and chain are perfectly matched for optimal performance. Max cutting power calls for triple the safety. This battery powered chainsaw is made with an upper safety guard, base plate, and hand guard that work together to protect you from the chain. Want more versatility? Turn your tool into a pole chainsaw on the fly. With the extension pole attachment (model WA4300), you can reach up to 9 ft. without hassle.
With a brushless motor, this industry-leading mini chainsaw makes effortless cuts on thick branches.

    Great for small yard pruning
    1. Intuitive to use
    2. Powerful for it’s size
    3. Convenient
Though I have not used this for heavy works yet, I think this saw is very capable
    Con
    1. Awkward using gloves. Must be my oversized gloves.

    Awesome
This thing is a beast! It’s light weight and easy to use. It cuts through thick branches like butter! The only negative about it is it doesn’t come with bar and chain oil. You can’t run it without the oil.

A powerful, lightweight, and reliable saw. Significant improvement over Worx WG324 & Stihl GTA26
Since mid-2023, I have gone overboard on cordless mini saws in my hobby of slaying buckthorn, honeysuckle, and other invasive brush/trees. I first purchased the Stihl GTA26, then the Worx WG324 5″ saw, and finally this model – the WG325 – which is by far the best of the three. I still love Stihl gas saws, but the Worx WG325 easily beats the Stihl GTA26 4″ saw by offering more power, MUCH better battery life, a longer bar, equally high reliability, and overall much better value. Case in point – I get 3x more cuts from a Worx 2Ah 20V battery that costs 66% less than the Stihl AS2 battery. While you won’t be able to fell trees larger than 9″ diameter, in many ways, a mini saw is more useful than a gas saw for small jobs because it easily tucks into a backpack or sling bag, can be taken just about anywhere, and is quick & quiet to deploy. It’s great for girdling larger trees too.
Worx makes few claims of water resistance on their gear, however my saw and a 4Ah battery recently survived being 2/3 submerged in marsh water for 30 minutes when it accidentally fell out of my bag. The motor was partially submerged while the battery was inundated. I was amazed that both components survived after being drained, opened, and thoroughly dried for a couple days. Obviously, DO NOT take this as proof the saw and battery are waterproof or assume you will have a similar outcome! However, I do think it points to the high quality to value ratio offered by Worx. Worth noting – Worx puts Samsung18650 batteries in their OEM packs – not the short-lived 3rd rate cells found in off-brand replacements & super cheap no-name brands. IMO, it’s worth it to with OEM for spare batteries!
Compared to the WG324, the chain speed is faster to full speed, seems to have an integrated brake which stops the chain in a split second of trigger release, and cuts modestly faster. The grip is also thinner, which makes it much more ergonomic for medium and smaller hand sizes.
Here are the faults I have noticed
    1) the oiler leaks if it is filled to capacity with standard bar oil. Use a viscous mix and do not fill it more than halfway. Definitely do not fill it with low viscosity vegetable oil.
    2) The chain becomes loose-ish after use and the bar cover does not maintain tension well, though the bar itself has always been securely held and the chain rarely loosens to the point of jumping. Re-tightening is a quick fix and not a major problem in practice. The bar and chain still hold better than on the older WG324, where both came dislodged if using too much force while cutting.
    3) I don’t love the ergonomics of the safety button – consistently pushing it has given me a callous on the side of my thumb. An up/down lever-style safety would be easier to engage. Unlikely to be a problem for most folks.
All in all, I’d rate this saw a 4.75/5. It’s a phenomenal tool that should be in the bag of every landowner and land steward whenever there is potential to cut small diameter brush & trees. Just don’t forget the stump herbicide!

    I’m actually really impressed
I have the worx weed whacker and it still works perfectly after years, the battery lasts so long and it’s so easy to use. I wanted to try more products so I got the mini pruning saw to clean up some landscaping. Holy smokes!! It was so powerful it scared me at first! I thought it was going to take me at least an hour to finish but it literally took 10 minutes the buzz through at least 30 branches and limbs! Clean up time is a different story. I can’t wait to use my work leaf blower and mulching device! Quality stuff and I am not easily impressed…

Be careful with the oil filler cap
Long time wood cutter here. Saw works/cuts great. I’d recommend using 4.0 ah battery. Being a limb saw you need to score the bottom side of limb first. It’s awkward to do with the safety gaurd on top of the bar. You have to flip the saw upside down to make the relief cut which can be awkward. 4 stars because BEWARE the oil cap. It doesn’t seat squarely! Dont try to force it. See photo. I had to return my first wg325 to thread failure on the tank upon first fill up. I removed the plastic retainer (attached to inside of filler cap) to help facilitate thread alignment. Not sure how long this one will last.

    PERFECT!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just used yesterday!! Sooo easy to cut branches needing a chain saw. Very safe for women!! Easy for older women who have lost alot of their strength holding a larger chainsaw for branches that can be taken care with this wonderful tool!!!!

    Task eliminator
I can’t compare this tool to its competitors since I have never had one before, but this thing is my best purchase in a very long time.
We live on property and I have been busy limbing-up oak trees. Dealing with the product of cutting all those limbs is a hard job. This thing makes quick work of all of that, removing the smaller limbs and twigs, and making fire work of it all. What used to take me an hour with pruning shears, a lopper, and a chain saw, is done in 15 minutes with the little prize.
I have had it for only a short time, but it seems to be very well made and the operating features are very good. I bought this one because it was 20V and had an automatic oiler which the competition did not. I want a holster for it.

The mini chainsaw is working well. The problem is that all chain oil is going down to the switch not to the chain, I need to lubricate separately. After several cuts my hands are all in oil, it is not good. I have around 10 working tools WORX with no problem in the last 10 years but with this chainsaw something is wrong and I am not happy. It is a very expensive tool…..
